I had just finished explaining everything that had happened to Maxon; everything from the first message to my recent premonition and to say he was upset would’ve been putting it nicely. Anger and worry were at the forefront of his thoughts but hidden beneath all of those emotions was the tickling feeling of excitement. Not only was he going to be a father, but a father to twins… but one question plagued his happy thoughts. Who wanted to hurt his family?
