“Who wants a meeting with me,” I asked abruptly cutting the girl off.
“Her name is Natalie Alpha; she would like to meet with you anywhere you feel comfortable, and you may bring whomever you choose,” Courtney finished with her head still bowed.
“Sounds like a set up to me,” I told the girl truthfully. “What does she want, another go at Maxon?”
Courtney snickered and then, realizing where she was, immediately tried to cover it with a cough clearing her throat. “No Alpha.”
