Surprise Phone Call

**Amrita's POV**

I was running almost to reach to my class before teacher could enter, just because I got stuck on strand road for today's activity but, all I wanted to see those children with smiley face, a reason to happy... may be it will last just for few minutes...or may be few hours but still I did, what I could possibly do by that time. At the mean time I didn't want to be late for my class. But unfortunately teacher already entered in our classroom and started giving lecture on engineering mechanics. 

I asked teacher.. "May I come in sir.. "

He replied after rolling an eye on his watch and then me... " This is your first and hopefully last warning miss... hope you will keep in mind..."

"Ohh... yes... of course sir.. I will not repeat this again... " I replied him firmly and he allowed me to enter thankfully.

During lunch break I was about to go for the hotel once again to clear the remaining bill if any left just when I bumped with Sameer. "Ohh god no drama again....now... please... " I said in my mind.. and he as always giving his strange gaze upon me. I asked him without showing any feelings mix with full of irritation and frustration, " What now..!? ". He said " you didn't give a single penny for the teacher's day yet. So, I thought I should personally give you a reminder. Are you planning to... "

" Ohh... I am sorry...take this.. " and I gave him the money without letting him finish his words and planned to move towards my way immediately. But hell no, he again blocked my path saying " why are you in so hurry miss...pin your lovely signature first... " .

"Sorry...excuse me!! " I said astonishingly.

" I mean, sign here in the funding list document." and he handed me a list. I signed in it and again tried to move giving it back to him but he grabbed my hand pushing me against the nearby wall, he whispered in my ear... "I said why are you in so hurry!! Where are you going..? ".

" That's none of your business... leave my hand now or otherwise I won't mind to slap you again.. " I said sharply and loudly but before he could do anything in reaction I just left, leaving him stunned as I used my trick to fool him addressing " hello.. sir.. I was just coming for you.. " and when he turned to see the professor I managed to escape.

Although it was fun by that time but I wasn't aware, it will cost me huge, later on.

When I reached to the hotel reception I asked about the pending bill and they easily recognized me thankfully, otherwise I was going to show them my identity card. But I was shocked when the receptionist told me it's already paid by someone else. I asked for the name but he replied " Sorry ma'am I don't know. ". I was about to yell as how irresponsible he was even..how he could just take the money from anyone without asking the name but, before I could do anything my phone rang with a unknown number flashing on my screen.

I took the call in frustration.. " Hello...who is this? "

- Hello...am I talking with miss Amrita Paul !!

- yes..speaking

- I am calling from police station. We have a arrest warrant against you. where are you now?

- What...!!! What nonsense is this...

- Here nothing is running nonsense miss. You have done a crime.

- Sorry... what crime? I guess you are mistaken me with someone else.

- No miss.. we are absolutely not mistaken you. By the way we already tracked your location...thanks to you miss... for cooperating with us over phone call. 

- What the hell... When I have even told you that I am in college place? 

- Well you didn't tell me before but, now you already spoke.. haha... although we can easily track your     location from your smart phone gps. Not so difficult especially with today's technology. 

- But I swear I haven't done anything illegal. Tell me what I am accused with? what's my crime? 

- You really don't know!! Ohh... What a naive. See you within 10 min.

- What... wait... you can't do this to me. 

And with this I was about to cry...my eyes became full with water. Anytime it will drop out from my eyes just when I heard a known name from the other side. It was Aakarsh.

-" Hey this is me. Aakarsh. You recognize me now?! Don't tell me you believed in my prank. It was so much     fun. " he was laughing while telling me this.

-"What nonsense is this... I was feeling like...." 

-" Yeah... I know... You were feeling like crying. And that's why I stop my prank without pulling it further."

-"This is a very bad joke..you know... And I don't like this kind of joke at all." 

-"Ohh.. hoo... It seems like someone is really angry with me. "

-"Just a minute..how did you get my number ?!" 

-"It was easy. But I won't tell you. "

-"Okay fine. I will find by myself. Bye now." 

-"Hey... wait a minute. I called you because I wanted to inform you something. "

-"And what is that? And why you want to inform me about this?"

-"Just... for no reason. By the way let me tell you first. I didn't get the job that I applied last. And I have sent      an application to siemens. Let see what happen next. "

-"what the hell. Are you crazy or something. You wanted to share this information with me.

-"Yes. Of course. What's wrong in it...What you thought by the way? Ahhhaaa...tell me." 

-"Nothing..stop annoying. See... my lunch break is already going to finish, all thanks to your disgusting prank upon me. And now I am getting late. So, bye." 

And with this I cut the call. I was headed back to my college gate while thinking I hadn't taken my lunch even just when, I collided with a person. I didn't know who he was but, my bag drop down and all items inside my bag was scattered on the ground as my bag's chain like zip was remained half open. I hurriedly gathered all the items one by one just to make sure nothing left.That unknown person also helped me with collecting my things.

 I said him "Am sorry.. I didn't see you on my way and thank you for helping me". But he left the place   immediately without saying a single word ". "Strange...how annoying..." but I saw him muttering something.   "Who cares." I thought in my mind and stepped inside a stall. I asked for one biscuit packet and gave ten rupees to the shop owner but I felt something inside my bag. I took out one note and opened it, it was another same note from the same guy as handwriting is also same in it. "What is this now..when he gave me this?" I was thinking all this..and my phone rang again but this time with another unknown number.

I cut the call. But it rang again. This time I answered the call.

- Hello. Who is this?

- Hi.. Ammy..

-Who the hell are you? How do you even know my name?

-Not an important question. By the way, have you read my note or not? ohh... sorry... let me introduce.. I am    your well wisher...

-Don't you have a name!! How did you even get... cutting me off,

-Listen naa... I know.. you have lot of queries in your little head. But let me finish. I guess you haven't read     my note yet, instead just realized that you have received my note right! no worries... let me tell you. I told you in my yesterday's note that I will meet with you tomorrow. And see I have kept my promise.

-That's mean....you are the...

-Ohh yes... that's mean.. the guy, with whom you collide with, that was me. And I kept the note inside your     bag carefully.

-Why didn't you take your money back from me? And how you got my number?

-Well... I have seen your today's stunt. I mean your morning activity from the beginning. So, you have given back more than enough. That's why I can't take a single rupee from you now on.

-What..! That's mean you paid the remaining bill. Are you following me... and..

-ohh yes.. I paid the remaining bill. And I got your number from the reception and I have come to know your nick name by...no no. I won't tell you..let it be suspense for now.

-You are crazy. Why are you even stalking on me. Just a minute did you just...

-Yes.. I took something from you without your permission. Hope you won't mind. And trust me I will keep it safe with me.Thanks for giving me the opportunity.

-Give my thing back.

-First you search what are you looking for. I mean what is missing inside. Haha...and you know you are so beautiful and kindhearted... and...

I just cut his call. I couldn't tolerate this anymore. Certainly I heard one of my classmate calling me.."Hey you... come fast. Haven't you done with your lunch break yet or else you are planning to skip the lab!?"

"Ohh...no..no, not at all.. I am coming...you go I just need to go for the washroom once then I will join you in the lab okay..." with this I went for the washroom.
