LOVE ON THE EDGE

Skylar froze as she stepped in front of her new classmates, standing besides her homeroom teacher. The room felt so unfamiliar, buzzing with curious eyes and whispers, and it hit her that her years as a transfer student were finally beginning.She moved carefully, memories of her old school and the friends she left behind tugging at her heart. Anika, her closest friend would be hardest to leave. Making new friends wouldn't be easy. Skylar knew her quiet nature often held her back but maybe this time could be different. She had gone through a lot these past few days. She tugged at her wrist then her mind drifted to her bracelet, it has gone missing for days and she has no idea when or where it got missing. The bracelet was gifted to her by her grandfather on her 16th birthday. It was custom made and it was among one out of the five that was made in the country. She knew she had to find it but she didn't know where to start looking from.Suddenly, another memory of the biker guy she met three nights ago came back to her mind. She had tried to forget about it but she couldn't. Though she couldn't see his face that night due to the fact that he had an helmet on, but she heard his voice. It was low and cold sending a warning she couldn't ignore. She wished she had seen his face that night but the thoughts of how scary he may look changed her wish. She knew she might not see him again but she still pondered on what scary face might be under the helmet. She tried to remember what he said, "Skylar, Skylar", a very coarse voice called. "But, no, he didn't sound like this and how does he know my name",she thought. She kept on hearing the same voice, "Skylarrrr". This time it was more loud and she came out of her thoughts, seeing the whole class staring at her. It was the voice of her homeroom teacher, Mr Wills, that has been calling out to her. "You've been standing there like a statue, are you okay?", Mr Wills asked. "Uhmmm.., I'm fine", she replied. The whispers in the room sounded more loud as most of them felt she was acting weird. "Decorum!, everyone", the homeroom teacher snapped and d room was quiet. "Skylar, please introduce yourself", he added. "Ohh., My name is Skylar Consgrove, I transferred from Hawkins High." She felt a little bit scared as everyone was quiet after her introduction. "Skylar, go sit at that vacant space", the teacher said pointing at a vacant seat. Skylar walked sluggishly to her seat, her anxiety grew even more. She noticed a guy smirked at her then laid his head on his desk. He looked so hot but she was too scared to think about that now. She sat down still surveying the new environment. "You all should be of ur best behavior. Your first teacher will soon be here", Mr Wills said before leaving the classroom. As soon as he left, everyone went back to their business while waiting for their first teacher. "Hey, Hey", a girl tapped out to Skylar. She was sitting next to her. "Ohh, hi!..", Skylar replied as she turned swiftly . "You seem nervous", the girl said with a smile. The girl looked really pretty, with a mole on her chin. She wore glasses which will make anyone see her as a nerd. She had a fangs, making her smile more unique. "Uhmm..., no I'm not", Skylar replied. "Well, it's fine. 'First day Syndrome',She added. "Huh!?", Skylar questioned confused. "It's actually normal to be feel nervous on ur first day, I get it", the girl said "Yh, u are right" "By the way, I'm Tessy, Tessy Anderson, Welcome to Ravenwood High school, Skylar", Tessy said with a grin. "Uhmm, thank you, Te..ssy", Skylar said still feeling anxious. Soon, the first teacher came in and the class went to order. Then, the class began. **********(Bell rang) The students are in the hallways, Skylar and Tessy are walking in the hallways, going to get books from their lockers. "You were the best student in Hawkins High, right?", Tessy asked "Oh, yeah, that's true", Skylar said still surveying the environment. "Wow, that's so cool", Tessy said with a smile. "That's the library",Tessy added while pointing to a big room filled with books and nerds. "Wow!", Skylar exclaimed "I know, right?, there are a lot of places that I have to show you, and yeah, I can't wait to introduce you to my friend, Anika. She missed school today because she had to go for her dentist appointment for her braces",Tessy added. "Nicee, I can't wait to meet her too", Skylar said as she drifted her attention to the group of boys walking down the hallway. "These are the cutest guys in school, Oh my Goddd!"Tessy exclaimed. The guy at the center was the same guy who smirked at her. "That's Zach Owen, he is the hottest guy in Ravenwood High", Tessy added. Skylar noticed as the guy stared at her while passing. The look was scary but she couldn't look away. Then the boys stopped as they got to Zach's locker. Skylar noticed something on his wrist, it looked familiar. It was her missing BRACELET. ***************************************
