may i be your light

Jacks pov

i cant seem to get bell out of my mind since i heard it was a young girl trapped in the building 

at frist i thought it was a child or teen but no she was a young woman when i first laid eyes on her she shined even with the black suit all over her face and skin i could see her clearly threw all the smoke its like she light up the building and lead me straight to her

she is my light and i will be her light when she wrapped her lil arms around me as i picked her up i felt my heart skip a beat and i knew she was right where i wanted to be i took her to the stretcher to lay her on it but she didnt want to let me go 

he voice was soft and hardly a whisper but i could hear her just fine 

once she let go of me i knew i would have to see her at the hospital and i know we are not supposed to become attatched to the ones we help but this girl seems to be different i feel so drawn to her and i need to know why i feel the need to care for her  so i am going to find out exactly why i am so drawn to her

Bellas pov

Draven hasnt given up and i am glad that Jack offered to pick me up and take me to get my car 

its 6am and i am up getting all my viatals taken and getting ready to be discharged but i have nothing to wear my clothes are nasty and un wearable 

*do you have anything i could wear home my clothes are unwearable.* i say 

*yes let me get you a pair of scrubs that we have* the male nurse named james says

*great thank you* i say 

James leaves the room and soon returns with a blue set of scrubs and of coarse they are only one size and thats size huge on me but this will do just fine until i can get home and get a shower 

its 7am and i am ready to get out of this place i am wearing the clothes i was given that are 4x my size but they will do for now 

i hear a soft knock on the door and i look up and i see Jack come into the room he looks so much handsomer today 

gosh this man is making me weak in the knees

*i brought you some of my sisters clothes to wear they will fit better than those scrubs* Jacks says

*oh thank you* i say as i grab the clothes 

he seriously thought of everything he brought me a pair of his sweats and a tee shirt of his 

i walk into the bathroom and i put the clothes on and they do fit much better still a bit big but they will work much better 

i walk out of the bathroom and Jack is looking at me with a very adorable smile spread across his face man oh man this guy is adorable 

*well my clothes look much better on you* he says smiling 

*yes and they fit much better to* i say smiling at him

the dr comes in to let me know that i am all set and i need to relax the next day or 2 and i need to take it easy no working until monday i guess its a good thing its friday and i dont have to work again until monday

i thank the dr for all he has done and Jack and i leave with a huge packet of papers saying that i need to rest and take it easy, a work excuse and a few other things 

jack leads me out side to his car he opens the door for me to get into his car and i climb in buckling up

*where to?* he asks 

*i live on jefferson st* i say

*Oh thats only a road away from my house* he says 

*I guess its good to know i have a hero for a near by neighbor* i say smiling

*im no hero* he says

*Oh but you are you are my hero* i say smiling at him 

silence soon fills his car and we just enjoy the ride to my house 

*what house is yours* he asks once we turn onto jefferson st

*Uh its the beigeish brown house with the front porch enclosed into a sunroom* i say

*thats a very pretty house* he says

*thank you i fell in love with it thats why i bought it* i say

*well your so young and you own a home your a very mature woman* jack says with a smile as he pulls into my driveway

we get out of the car and we head into my home

*you have good taste* he says looking around at my house 

its set up nicely and its well organized 

*well thank you, i really tried to make it a home* i say

*please help your self to anything here i am going to get a shower and get changed if you dont mind* i say

*no go ahead and get ready* he says

i smile and head up stairs to my room i grab out a pair of dress pants and a nice blouse and head into my mater shower thats in my room

i strip out of Jacks clothes and i place them into my hamper i turn the water on and i climb into the shower 

letting the water run over my body and washing all the sut off of my skin and hair its very dirty water running off of me 

i wash my hair and wash my body 2x to ensure i am clean and ready for my interview 

i turn the water off and i step out of the shower to dry my hair and body

i decide on a simple look and just leave my hair down brushed neatly 

i pull my clothes onto my body and slide on a pair of nice dress shoes that i have  

i pull my self together and i open my bedroom door and head down the steps and into the living room and i see Jack sitting on the couch looking at me smiling 

*you look great* he says 

*Well thank you, so do you* i say with a smile 

*well shall we head down to the firehouse?* he asks 

*yes we shall let me gtab a bottle of water would you like anything to drink* i ask 

*i will take a water if you have another* he says

*yes 2 waters coming right up* i say 

i head to the fridge and grab us both  a water before we head out to his car
