Jacks pov

It’s been a long almost 2 hours but we are finally with in 10 miles of the house that may have my precious bell in it.

I just sure hope she is alright and this is where she is i am scared for her well being. I know he is obsessed with her and I know he has bad intentions with her. It kills me not knowing what may of happened to her.

Time just crawls until we pull up near the mansion but we park cars away and walk silently up to the house so we are not heard or noticed

There are lights on upstairs the cops check the doors but they are locked but frank notices a open window and he enters threw the window and then opens the door

We slowly make our way three the house until we get up stairs towards the light. We can hear a man talking I am almost certain it’s draven

*you will be mine from tonight on, I will get what’s mine* the man says and I feel my stomach tighten I know it’s him we walk closer until we see him over a very bruised and bartered unconscious bell

The cops rush in with their guns on draven ordering him to get off of bell he has his hands all over her and i am furious

I hold my composure until he is detained then I rush over to hell she is very bruised and battered I can see cuts and bruises all over her body. She is alive but unconscious. I gently scoop her into my arms.

*no please dont* she mumbles

*shh your okay now bell* I say

She says nothing and I just hold her close to me and head outside with her in my arms.

There is an ambulance waiting and I gently place her on the stretcher and they take her to the nearest hospital and I follow them.

Once at the hospital I race in side to be by her side.

*sir you will have to wait here* the nurse says and I pace the waiting room for hours

6 hours later

*are you Isabella’s family?* a older man asks

*im her botfriend* I say as I walk towards him

*she had to have surgery she has a lot of damage, broken ribs a concussion, her nose is broken, broken fingers a deep gash to her hip, good news is she was not raped* dr says

*oh that’s good but is she okay* I ramble

*yes I think she is out of the woods but she will be here about a week* dr says

*I actually would like her transferred back towards home as we are about 3 hours from our home* I say and the dr nods

*I understand but she can’t be moved tonight she needs to atleast wake up then we can transfer her to a different hospital * dr says and I nod

*may I please see her* I ask

*yes please follow me* he says and I quietly follow him back towards her room

He slowly opens the door and allows me to enter

I see bell laying there so peaceful even tho she is bruised battered and hurt bad she still looks at peace.

I set down beside her bed and rest my head on the bed watching her quietly.

Bells pov

I hear a beeping sound and I slowly open my eyes to bright lights I quickly close my eyes shut

I can feel a weight on me so I open my eyes again and I see jack resting his head beside me holding my hand lightly

*no no no this has got to be a dream* I say as o close my eyes knowing it’s to good to be true. Last thing I remember was losing consciousness as draven was touching me

*bell it’s me open your eyes* jack says as he gently rubs my hand

I open my eyes and I see a very worried jack looking at me

*im so thankful it’s you but how I don’t remember anything other than Draven hurting me, oh please tell me he didnt* I say as tears fill my eyes as realization hits me

*no Bella he didn’t, we got there just in time and the drs checked and everything is okay baby* he says as he stands up and gently kisses me lips

I put my hand up to his cheek and I gently touch his cheek I am so thankful for him and all he has done

*bella you will be moved to a nearby hospital at home. You have broken ribs and had to have surgery you will be recovering for awhile but atleast a week in the hospital* he says

*what happened to him* I ask

*the cops have arrested him for kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, attempted murder, attempted rape* he says and I let out a breath I didn’t know o was holding in.

*thank you* I say as I close my eyes today has already took alot out of me and I am exhausted

*rest babe I will let the dr know your awake* he says as he kisses me gently and walks out of the room.

2 weeks later

I am not home and resting I have been healing well my bruises are fading slowly my cuts and scars have also been healing at a slow pace.

Jack has been absolutely perfect and very helpful

He has went above and beyond when he is not working he is taking care of me even tho I can do alot on my own he insists on helping me. And I am thankful for all he does for me.

Draven is facing 30 years in prison and I am thankful and I really hope he gets atleast that.

Ring ring

*hey babe how are you doing* jack asks

*I am good hun. How is work?* I ask

*it’s good baby but I was worried about you* he says

*oh jack I am alright and doing well.* I say honestly

*dinner will be delivered in about 10 mins* jack says

*I could of cooked dinner but thank you baby* I say

Jack continues to talk to me until there is a knock on the door and I open the door to see all of the firefighters and paramedics standing at my door with pizzas, cake, flowers, balloons, drinks and more I smile and move to allow them to come in and then I see jack standing there

He whispers in the phone surprise I hang up and smile walking to him and gently hug him s I am still very sore and my ribs are killing me still

We head inside and all enjoy pizza, pop, cake chip and talking man I have missed them and I really miss working but about 1 more month and I will be able to return to work

It’s about 8 when everyone leaves except jack

*don’t you have to get back to work* I ask

*no baby we planned this and I planned to only work a half shift used vacation for the rest* he says and we snuggle up on the couch

Man I am lucky to have such a patient, kind caring man. I am blessed to call him mine.

3 weeks go by

I am fairly healed still have some minor pain in my ribs but I can’t complain.

Jack has been so very helpful and patient with me. He is currently at work but I am planning a very special day for us once he gets off work.

I start by cleaning the entire house dusting mopping putting the dishes into the dishwasher I clean the bathrooms and do laundry clean our room I head to my closet and pull out 4 boxes of rose petals I had delivered the other day I start at the front door with rose petals leading up to our bedroom and on our bed I place a heart shape of rose petals I then get out the box of tea light candles I bought and I place a trail of them from the front door up the steps and to our bed

I will wait to light them until he is almost home

I pull out a very cute baby doll nightgown it’s very sexy

2 hours until shift ends and it can’t go any faster I bake brownies and place them on a cooling rack and I pull out steaks and place them in the fridge for dinner tonight jack is off for 2 days now and I am so ready

*I love you and thank you but go get dressed we have lunch reservations in an hour* I say as I peck his cheek and head out of the room down to the living room

Jacks pov

I can’t believe we finally had s*x she is beyond amazing and I have never felt this way with a woman she has me hooked

I have never felt so much love for a woman and the need to protect her. She is truly one in a trillion and I am so thankful I get to call her mine. I plan on purposing to her as soon as she heals a bit more but I might do it sooner

I bought her a beautiful princess cut ring but I’m waiting for the perfect moment to purpose to her

Hmmm I know I think I should talk to the guys and set something up at the fire hall

I pull out my phone and I call chief

*hey chief I need your help, I want to purpose to bell but I need it to be special, we will be heading to lunch soon and after wards I thought we could swing by the station so I can purpose to her. Do we still have the stuff for the ball?* I ask

This year I missed the ball but donated money to help kids because of bells condition

*yes we do and I think if you give us till 2 we can have it all set up in the Common room* chief says *okay great thank you very much I owe you big time* I say as I hang up

I jump in the shower and then throw on a nice dress shirt and pants then I place her ring in my pocket and head down the steps

Bell is waiting by the door with her coat on and her boots

I grab my coat and walk towards her we head to the restaurant and we enjoy our lunch I check my phone and it’s 1:45pm

*bell we have to swing by the fire station I forgot to sign paper work* I say

*okay let’s go so we can get home* she says with a naughty smile and wink

I follow her to the car and I let her in and close the door I then get in and drive to the station

Once at the station everyone is in the bays and they are all talking to bell

*son it’s all set up head there and we will bring bell* chief says

*ok thank you* I say as I head to the commons it’s beyond beautiful lights galore a flower archway candles and lots of beautiful decorations

I get down on one knee and wait for bell to enter

Bells pov

*hey let’s all head to the commons* chief says and we all head towards the commons

*go ahead bell* chief says as I slowly open the door

The sight before me is absolutely beautiful but what catches my eye the most is jack down on one knee holding a ring in his hand

*bell I know it’s only been a couple months and we have been threw so much, but I couldn’t imagine my life with out you beside me. You have gave me strength and you have taught me love. From the very first time I laid eyes on you I knew you were the one for me now Bella will you please make me the happiest man alive and merry me* jack asks

* yes* I say as tears37! Down my face and I rush to hug and kiss jack

Man he is absolutely perfect

*how did you do this?* I ask

*with the help of everyone* he says as he hugs me then gently placing the ring on my finger

* this is beyond perfect thank you all* I say as I look at them and they all start to congratulate us with warm smiles

After awhile we head home and I start to prepare dinner as it’s now almost 5pm I cook the steaks and I steam fresh vegetables along with a side salad and I place it neatly on the table for us

Jack soon joins me and we enjoy our dinner
