Anita woke up one day in the body of the villainess of one of her favorite novels. She wasn't impressed at all considering that the villainess was destined to be killed by the secret villain who was the female lead herself. Pretending to be all nice and fragile, she was a cold hearted killer who manipulated everyone to get her revenge. Even knowing the truth, Anita had to admit that the female lead was gorgeous. Every time she saw her, her heart skipped a beat and she couldn't be scared of her no matter how hard she tried. Even before meeting her in real life, Anita had the biggest crush on this character and would even dream of her. However she was smarter than to get close to her futur killer and would do her best to avoid her. But why was the female lead so interested in her?

Chapter 1
Anita loved revenge. She loved it so much that she would read every book based on that but would jump immediately to the chapters with revenge not supporting angst at all. She didn't read the main characters' back stories but still felt their revenge knowing that they had a horrible past. She didn't have an easy life either but never decided to get revenge herself. She thought life was too short to take revenge and preferred to live happily but somewhere she regretted her choice. She believed in karma but she still loved seeing strong and powerful women literally destroy the demons from their past and would read again and again her favorite chapters with butterflies in her stomach. Her favorite revenge story was by far the story of Astéria. Astéria, the female lead, was a manipulative and calculating monster who didn't feel an ounce of empathy. She went through literal hell and even if Anita usually jumped the angsty chapters from the beginning, she read the book so many times that she read a bit of Astéria's horrible past. She immediately regretted it and decided to forget what she saw forever.   Astéria's story wasn't Anita's favorite book because she couldn't read angst but otherwise it was perfect in every way. Astéria didn't fall in love with anyone and focused on torturing people mentally and physically. Anita didn't have time for romance and by far preferred to see Astéria use the male lead and pretend to be such a nice and misunderstood little girl before murdering him cold heartedly to get the throne. After reading the book so many times, Anita jumped on the occasion when the manhwa came out and she posed seeing Astéria. She had her own image of the female lead but she never thought she was that gorgeous. She was very tall and had strong arms. She had curly black hair and a sharp face. Her green eyes were glowing out of her dark skin making her gaze mesmerizing. She was gorgeous. Anita had never been attracted to anyone in her entire life. She had had a lot of crushes on non existing people but she never had such a huge crush on a character ever. She saved a lot of drawings on her phone and stared at them for hours straight while imagining hundreds of situations where Astéria would fall in love with her. For Anita, all of this stopped here. She lived her life as always and only turned to the drawings when she had nothing to do. But what she didn't know was that she wasn't the only one with a crush.   Astéria grew up on the streets and when she wasn't dying of hunger or cold, she was being beaten to death. She didn't have a moment of peace or any ray of hope ahead. But one day as she was shivering outside she suddenly heard a shy voice. She jerked up and looked around but didn't see anyone and the voice immediately went away. She thought that was all but she didn't think she would hear the same voice again a few days later. The little voice was singing happily but once again Astéria looked around and the voice stopped. The voice had been the most soothing and beautiful thing Astéria ever heard. Even if she only heard it for a second, she couldn't forget about it. Astéria didn't think she would miss something so much and next time she heard the voice, she didn't move an inch not wanting to scare it away. Soon she got used to the voice and would look ahead to every time it would appear.   Astéria loved hearing that singing voice and clung to it in every moment of fear. It soon became her only moment of peace and she felt warmth as soon as she heard the familiar songs. Anita didn't know but everytime she sang, Astéria felt like she could live a day more. And when she didn't, Astéria felt more despair than ever before. She grew up with the little voice and after being abandoned as a child she soon got taken back in by the Duke of the north. She clung to her revenge and was very patient. She learned everything a noble lady needed and was ready to take everything. She didn't pretend to be all shy and innocent but she didn't need to because she was smart enough to win in any situation. It was way too easy to win against people when they thought you were an i***t and Astéria prefered a challenge even if there wasn't any. Therefore, despite her revenge going perfectly, Astéria was rather bored. Just like when everything was too easy and she didn't feel any satisfaction behind it. She hated everyone and didn't get any friends. The fact that everyone was terrified of her didn't help. And they were terrified by cause: her revenges were hundred percent worst than the wrongs she got.   As she was in a social gathering, Astéria got bumped into by one of the guests. The latter immediately panicked seeing the menacing gaze of Astéria. Everyone knew how dangerous the Duke's daughter was. But as the guest was losing composure and Astéria was ready to literally destroy her existence, the former's eyes color changed. Anita only thought she was dreaming but she woke up in the body of the guest for a few seconds. The latter got so scared of Astéria that her heart stopped and Anita took advantage of the situation without knowing. She opened bright blue eyes and smiled knowing she was dreaming. However seeing Astéria's face, she froze:   "Oh!"   Astéria immediately noticed the change and waited to see what it meant. She had never seen anyone's eyes change colors before apart from hers. Wizards were badly seen in this world and there were very few people with color changing eyes. But soon Astéria noticed that it wasn't the case here because not only the eyes changed but everything else going from the smile, to the demeanor and personality:   "Astéria?"   There was something really weird in the guests' behavior. She had been all frightened a second before but now that she was looking at her, Anita was smiling with flushed cheeks. No one had ever looked at Astéria that way and she got confused for a second.   "You are even more gorgeous in my dreams!"   Anita soon forgot about Astéria however and started looking around:   "Wow, this looks so real. My imagination is amazing."   She stared at the walls for a few seconds:   "Am I lucid dreaming again?"   There was only one way to know and she stared at the walls even more before having them change from green to salmon pink. Seeing the change, Anita smiled even more:   "I knew it! But this was harder than expected. I will soon wake up. Too bad. I love balls."   And she did. Anita had an amazing control over her body and dreams and she could open her eyes whenever she wanted to make herself wake up. She had fallen asleep on the train and couldn't sleep any longer which was why she woke herself up. Otherwise she would have loved to spend more time with Astéria who as soon as she saw her heart skipped a beat. Anita wasn't the only one in that state because as long as the guests eyes were blue, Astéria couldn't move an inch and as soon as the guest came back she felt all her rage run through her body without any particular reason. Both of the girls fell in love at first sight for the second time during that dream.   Anita couldn't stop thinking about her dream and wanted to see Astéria all the time during her sleep. On the other hand, Astéria was more irritable than ever but couldn't stop staring at the guest for some reason. She was waiting for her eyes to turn blue every second and wanted to kill her every second her eyes were still brown but couldn't bring herself to hurt her in the event that those eyes did in fact appear. People felt their blood freeze sensing Astéria paying attention to them. It was never a good sign and the guest in question started writing her will.   As Astéria was counting the days since the last appearance, the blue eyes did in fact appear again but it wasn't on that guest's face. Astéria was being dressed by three of her maids. She didn't say anything to them and they were shaking terrified of what would happen if they were to make a mistake. And one of them did. She was so stressed at the idea of being this close to the Duchess that she dropped Astéria's favorite necklace and hearing the sound, the others all fled to the other side of the room terrified of Astéria's anger falling on them too. There was no solidarity in death between these women.   Astéria was in fact ready to lose it but when she saw the maid's eyes she froze. The maid didn't fall to her knees terrified for her life and looked with her clear blue eyes around the room. Astéria felt her heart go all over the place again as she was waiting for the blue eyed maid to speak. The others didn't speak either, starting to feel lost not seeing the maid drop dead. Anita just woke up in that body and needed some time to look around and notice where she was. When she looked down she finally saw Astéria and smiled. The latter thought she was about to die and placed her hand on her heart to prevent it from falling out.   "Oh hi! I'm so happy to see you again."   Anita seemed to think for a second:   "Do I usually talk in my dreams? I don't think I hear my voice usually..."   As she was thinking aloud she saw the necklace and picked it up:   "Oh, I'm sorry, is this yours? I think I stepped on it... I'm so sorry I didn't see it. But don't worry I'll give you another one."   She stared at Astéria and the cold blooded killer never felt that uncomfortable before.   "Red suits you indeed. It makes you look strong and powerful but I think you would look even better in blue."   Anita had to focus for a few seconds but a blue necklace did in fact appear in her other hand and she handed it to Astéria. The latter had never seen anyone be this calm about magic before.   "There you go. I think you would look amazing."   Astéria was still too shocked to speak. No one ever gave her a gift. Or never without any hidden motive. Seeing her all frozen, Anita tilted her head:   "What did I say? Was this necklace important to you?"   She didn't remember Astéria in the book being particularly attached to that necklace but maybe she just forgot not being very caught up on details. As Anita looked at the red necklace, she saw the maid uniform she was wearing.   "Oh! Am I a maid? I've never been a maid before."   She started turning around looking at herself with an amused smile:   "I was always the heroïn in all my dreams. This is fun."   She walked behind Astéria and put the necklace around her neck. Feeling the cold, Astéria finally woke up and approached the necklace with her hand. She didn't dare touch it terrified that it would disappear just like the singing voice.   "There you go!"   Anita was really proud of herself:   "Gorgeous."   Astéria felt her cheeks burn up and the two other maids started creeping closer not understanding what they were seeing. Feeling them, Anita turned around and smiled:   "Hi there."   Astéria couldn't take Anita looking at someone else and the two maids lost their heads in the second. Astéria had never felt jealousy before and therefore didn't know how to act apart from violence. Moreover, the two maids just saw Anita use magic openly and Astéria couldn't have Anita be in danger. Seeing all this, Anita panicked. She never had nightmares so this was a first. She closed her eyes and focused on leaving. Seeing her scared, Astéria immediately regretted her actions and was ready to do anything to keep her there but it was too late and the brown eyes came back with a lost expression.
