CHAPTER 33~Reunion~
Devlin I climbed out of the hospital bed where Lotus slept and listened to her breathe. Dr. Williams was furious when she saw Lotus dangling in my arms. She had nurses hook her back up to the monitors while she lectured me. When she finished her check-up, she glared at me and reassured that Lotus just needed rest. This has been the most stressful week of my life, I was exhausted. Our lives seemed to be a constant roller coaster. All I wanted now was to give Lotus the stability she deserves.
