I gave Lucian six hours to be with his mate before I called him into my office. Lotus was upset that I didn’t give him more time, but I reasoned with her that the safety of our pack came first. She had agreed and went to drop the triplets off with my mother before the meeting started.
I walked into my office and saw that all the ranked members, Elder Regan and Gwen were present. I walked behind my desk and sat down. Lotus gave me a kiss then sat on my lap; we were running out of chairs. A soft knock came to the door and Donnie answered it, letting Lucian and Blair in. Blair’s eyes were bright and she blushed as she tried to hide her swollen lips behind her hand. Lucian’s bruises were mostly faded and he had a smirk on his face that made him seem younger.
