I tossed over again, trying to get comfortable. “Baby, you’re killing me.” Devlin groaned beside me. “I’m sorry. I’m just restless and anxious.” I murmured, rolling back around to face him.
He sighed while pulling me onto his chest and rubbed my back. I listened to the steady beat of his heart. “I love you.” I murmured. He stopped moving and I held my breath. We’ve never spoken the words out aloud before but we knew we loved each other through our actions.
