We heard the four howls sound off in the distance. There were intruders on the territory, and only a few warriors were here to protect us. I turned to look at Lily. She was wringing her hands and pacing. “We gotta go out there.” I told her. She furiously shook her head. “Absolutely not. The guys will kill us, then Lotus will bring us back and kill us again.”
I scoffed, “We could die here if we don’t do something!” She continued pacing the murmured, “We could just ask for an update.” I threw my hands in the air.
