When Charlotte opened the front door of Lucy’s home, there was no one sitting in the living room to greet the three of them. Soon the aroma of food filled the living room, drawing Lucy, Paul, and the kids irresistibly to it. Charlotte directed Aiden to the kitchen and ordered the kids to wash their hands and hurry so they could all eat. Soon Lucy’s kitchen table was filled with food and surrounded by hungry people, eager to sample what Charlotte’s housekeeper had sent over.
