Chapter 6

Amelia, Susan and Jenny were walking to the library, as they were walking a lot of student were looking at them. Susan and Jenny know why they were looking at them. The school has a habit of looking and laughing at fat and ugly student to them it was entertaining. Amelia looks at how uncomfortable her friends was and look at herself. She did not see anything wrong with them.

“Are you guys alright?” asked Amelia.

“They are laughing at us.” Replied Susan as she looked down.

“Who??” question Amelia.

“All of them Amelia!!!” said Susan as she was about to cry. Amelia looks at her friends and understands that they are not as strong as her. She then took earpieces out and gives it to Susan. Susan look at her clueless as what is she going to do with the earpiece.

“Plug it into your phone and listen to it at the highest volume and walk. You would not be able to hear them laugh. “Susan even though doubt it will work took the earpieces and plug it into her phone making Jenny did the same. They kept walking to the library, at first they were looking down but after a while they got courage to look up and walk to the library confidently without worrying about what other says.

After a week later, whoever was close to Amelia has the courage to defense themselves, they are not afraid anymore. They could looked up and not afraid to go to school anymore. Amelia was sitting at the canteen having lunch when Kelly walk up to her, snatch her burger and throw it away. Kelly pulls Amelia up and punch Amelia stomach before pushing her down on the floor. Everyone there stop what they were doing and looked at Kelly in fear. Kelly pull her blouse to pull her up, as Amelia stood up Kelly wanted to punch her again but this Amelia manage to block her punch and push Kelly down. Amelia did not want to beat Kelly because she had made a promise and she will keep it as long as no one make her.

“Don’t test me Kelly. I’m not that easy for you to play just because I looked weak.” Said Amelia before walking away but Kelly stood up run toward Amelia busting with anger that Amelia had embarrass her. As she run towards Amelia in her hand there was a glass bottle, as she reach Amelia she wanted to smash the bottle toward Amelia but instead of hitting Amelia she hit someone else.

Amelia turn around the moment she heard something crash behind her only to see Millie was on the ground bleeding. Amelia look at Kelly froze as she did not know that Millie would cover Amelia. Amelia immediately went to Millie and started to do first aid to stop the blood.

Amelia walked into the canteen with her sleeve up, her heart is full of anger no one can get away from hurting her friend just like that. As she walk in she looked for Kelly but she was nowhere to be found. She then walk over to Kelly so called gang who was sitting at the corner of the canteen. She got there with an empty tray she took from the previous table and bang it on the table. The gang got shock and turn to her unhappy that she did that to them.

“What the hell you think you are doing fatty?” shouted Matthew. Amelia took the tray gain and hit Matthew with it hard. She him about 5 times till it bleed. The rest were taken aback and was scare to do anything to help Matthew. Amelia then stop and push him down to the ground before throwing the tray at him and says,

“Kelly where’s she?”

“She…she…at the old science lab." Replied one of them who was so scare of Amelia. Amelia did not wait any longer and run out of the canteen to the old science. When Amelia got to the old science lab she saw that Kelly was about to jump out from the window but because her bag got stuck between the table Amelia manage to pull her into the lab.

“Nowhere what do you want?” said Kelly.

“An apology!”

“To you…” Kelly start to laugh.

“I apologize to no one.” Said Kelly again. Amelia smirk at Kelly and says,

“Oh…yes you do!” Amelia walk to Kelly and wanted to pull Kelly hand but Kelly manage to pull her hand back. Kelly punch Amelia but Amelia manage to grab her fist and punch Kelly stomach and push her down. Amelia look at her again and says,

“Let’s not do this!” but Kelly would not be defeated she stood up and high kick Amelia but again Amelia manage to catch her leg and says,

“Do you want me to drag you to the hospital? Huh!!” shouted Amelia wishing Kelly would just give before she hurt her more. Kelly pulls her leg back and waited for Amelia to attack first.

“Seriously I don’t want to do this!” warning Amelia to Kelly again before she get really hurt.

“Whatever!" Kelly run towards Amelia and punch Amelia stomach but again Amelia manages to hold her fist while punching Kelly at her stomach a few time before punching her face then Amelia drag her toward the table and bang Kelly head to the table a few time before letting her go.

“So what it’s going to be? Apologize or I shall you to hell?” shouted Amelia to Kelly.

“Okay...okay… I apologize!” cried Kelly as she could no longer move. Amelia could not stop herself from wanting to help Kelly. Amelia walks over to Kelly and helps her up to sit at the rusty old chair which was there. Kelly was bleeding on her forehead, Amelia search her pocket to find a packet of unused tissue she took it out and stop the bleeding. Kelly looked at her who a few second ago was beating the s**t out of her and now treating her wound.

“What!!” said Amelia.

“Why are you so nice?” question Kelly.

“Why would I want to waste my time for being mean? Being mean will not make me happy.”

“You are just showing off that all! I know what type of girl you are!”

“Which is what? Since you know so much about me tells me what type of girl am I?”

“A goody two shoe that what you are. You just being nice at first but you have your own agenda.”

“Yeah…my agenda is to turn all of you into my minion seriously Kelly I have no agenda in place, I want study, make friends, protect hem and have a good high school life that all but it’s up to you to believe.” Said Amelia as she took Kelly hand and place it at her wound before walking out of the lab.

“Apologize to her at your own will I will not force you but what you did is wrong. If I was the one in the hospital I would have already forgiven you but it’s Millie she did nothing wrong.” Amelia turn around and walk out of the lab leaving Kelly feeling guilty for what she had done. Kelly know that Amelia is genuine and she’s not being goody two shoe. She is sincere with whatever she did or say, if Kelly would have met Amelia years ago she would not be a bully she would have done what Amelia did but that was in the past Kelly hope that she still have a chance to change, change to someone good someone she once were.
