The Royal Premiership has been the love of the town of Salford, it was kept them busy from August to May and the team that they all supported was the Salford Ravens, the league has been a competitive one, the sixteen teams all vie for the league title, while the RP teams face the lower division league, the Royal Division 1 in the Royal Cup. The winners of the league and the Royal Cup then go head to head in the Championship Finals. The Salford Ravens have been terrific and in the RP 50 years of competition, have won the league 13 times, their rivals Keswick United however beat them to it this season, The Ravens however made it back by defeating Morecambe in the Royal Cup final, the Championship Finals were set for the 31st of May, the Ravens captain, Arnold Jones have promised victory to the team. the team star was mostly responsible for the cup win and hopes to lift the second trophy of the season. Ravens however have purchased a new striker to help the team's morale, a rookie player by name Devan Alexander. the stage for the Championship Finals is set. Keswick United vs Salford Ravens
