Chapter 16Fall/Winter 2004 On September 19 I laid my brother Luke to rest next to our father. I cried for my mother, who couldn’t be here to kiss her first born goodbye. She couldn’t tell him how much she loved him, but I was there for him. Before pall bearers closed the casket for the final time, I kissed my big brother on the cheeks. I placed a family picture of all four of us together, when our dad took us to Disney World. One of the happiest times in all of our lives. Brandon’s sorry ass didn’t even stay for the whole funeral to console me. He left for an important call he claims he’s been waiting for.
