Born with Plagues

Chapter 4

"Darius huh" I then chuckle, "and what could you possibly want with me, but whatever it is I suggest you leave if you don't want to get burned",

"Don't get so full of yourself" the man says abruptly, "you're our last piece so I'm here to take you"

"Last piece for what" I then ask the man who then smirks,

"For the plan of plague extinction, an era without plagued humans"

"An era without plagued humans?" I then mutter,

"Damn straight, so just be a good boy and come along with me" the man says as he stretches his hands forward, this then makes me let out a brief laughter,

"Did you really think I would go along with such a f****d up plan"

"Well of course not, that is why I'm willing to use force if necessary" he says as he adjusts his suit sleeves,

"I suggest you take your leave now or you're gonna regret_" before I could complete my statement, I felt a heavy blow on my stomach making me kneel as I spit out blood while gripping my stomach in pain, "but, I had my eyes on you and you never moved, so how did you_" I then spit out blood again,

"I thought you said I was going to regret not leaving" the man says with an unwavering smirk, as he then takes a step forward, I quickly jump thinking what ever he's doing won't affect me in the air, the man then shakes his head

"I'm a sorcerer, don't think my abilities work the same as plagues do"

"Did he just call himself a sorcerer_" I then felt a heavy kick on my face which sends me crashing until my head meets the tip of his feet, he then squats,

"Just what do you need me for" I then said admist groans,

"Oh, don't get me wrong, what I'm actually in need for is your plague",

"My plague?" I then ask,

"Yeah" he replies, "you're the human plagued with an inferno, a strong and uncontrollable demonic flame, and when I mean demonic I mean your flames are from the pit of hell"

"Can't be" I mutter unable to believe that was my plague,

"With a plague as destructive as that, we can end all plagued humans in one full swoop" the man then smiles, "isn't that wonderful?"

"If my plague is as demonic as you say, then you have no idea what you're toying with" I said while trying to get back on my feet,

"It's you that has no idea who you're talking to" he then matches me making me to lie flat on my face, "and in order for me to take take your plague, I need you dead", he then brings out a long dagger from inside his suit sleeve,

"So you really want to end me that badly huh" I then said as I closed my eyes patiently awaiting my end,

"Of course I do, don't worry this is all for the greater good" he then raises the dagger and was about to stab me when suddenly I felt my body in motion. I then opened my eyes only to see four familiar faces,

"Are you alright" Jean says as he helps me up,

"You guys came for me" I then said with surprise,

"Of course we would, it's only reasonable" Ethan then says as he adjusts his glasses,

"I never knew such words could come out of your mouth" I then said with a smile,

"I'm just trying to be nice, so don't push it" Ethan grunts,

"Let's not forget we have a sorcerer in front of us" Dylan then alerts us,

"Why does his face looks familiar" Dilla then says,

"That would be because we're currently facing Darius, the world's messiah although it is not in our favour" Jean says as he clenches his fists "guys get ready for the worst,

"Don't worry yourselves" Darius says as he yawns "playing around with you people would just be a waste of time "he then fixes his gaze on me "but don't worry I'll be back for you but for now, my men will handle you people" a suited man then suddenly appears landing on the building top beside Darius, "goodbye, for now" Darius then jumps off the building,

"Jackson and Ethan, we're going to go after him, although it's risky to engage in combat, but it's worth a shot, Dylan and Dilla, stay here and take care of that man" Jean says as he signals to me and Ethan, "let's go" we then jump off the building. On landing, we could Darius running a little far off,

"Quick after him" Jean says as we immediately start running in his direction. I couldn't understand whether we were so fast or the so called Darius was slow as we too easily caught up with him, Jean then grabs him by the suit and slams him against a wall after which he takes a closer look only to see that it wasn't Darius. After we closely observe the person's face, we then see numbers counting in the person's eyes, 4...,3...,2...,1...,

"s**t, it's a trap!!!", the body then explodes sending us crashing through the window of a nearby eatery.

On top of the building, Dilla and Dylan are left facing the suited man,

"Kids, ending you would be child's play, and let's make it quick shall we" the man then says with all confidence, and this annoys Dilla,

"You know what Dylan, don't bother yourself with this man, I will be more than enough, just go meet with the rest" Dilla then says,

"Well if you insist you can take on him, I won't stop you" Dylan says as he walks to the end of the building,

"Not that I can even stop you if I tried" he then jumps off the building,

"Thinking only you can take on me was just too absurd, this battle would be over quickly" the man says as he takes a fighting stance, Dilla then looked at him with pity as she completely removed the mouth mask,

"Yes it would be over quickly", as he hears her voice, his ear drum explodes almost completely as blood starts to spill from his ear,

"Arrrrrrgh" he screams in pain, "what did you do to me", Dilla then wears her mask back as she wanted to talk with him,

"Did you know that telling someone your plague triggers instantaneous effect"

"What does have to do with anything?" the man asks still holding his ear in pain,

"Well", she then takes of the mouth mask once more, "My plague is a sound storm" as she says this, the man is forced to kneel as blood was not only spilling from his ears but from his eyes, nose and mouth,

"Arrrrrrgh!!" the man continuously screams in pain, then due to the man's body being unable to withstand the effect, his whole head then explodes as blood splashes everywhere after which the man's headless body then falls to the ground, Dilla then smiles as she wears her mask back,

"What a waste of a man" she hisses as she jumps off the building, "now I have to meet up with rest, I wonder how their doing, well I better find out".
