David steps forward to greet the King and Queen, but Queen Cora walks up the stairs, past him and pulls me in a hug.
“You must be Luna Celeste,” she says warmly. “I’ve heard about your library. Simply amazing idea!”
“Thank you, Your Highness,” I say as she releases me and I bow, baring my neck.
“Your Majesty,” I hear David say and see him bow to the King. “Welcome to Pink Moon. We’re honored to have you join us.”
He simply nods and looks up at Randall and myself. “Alpha Randall,” he says firmly. “We need to have a conversation.”
“I expected as much,” Randall tells him with a bow.
“So your mate is Alpha David’s Luna?” he says with a grin that makes me uncomfortable, like he knows this is difficult and is enjoying that fact. “What a tangled web.”
