“Brad why are you coming with me?” She asked confused.
“With a council member being involved this just got a lot more dangerous,” Brad stated.
“Let’s get out of here,” Noah said.
“You need to get out of here Penelope,” Brad said before they left the room. Penelope wanted to fight with them, but she didn’t Brad was right. Penelope wasn’t a fighter, she had did the mandatory training when she was growing up, but after that she only trained sparsely when she was home from college. That all changed after Liliana got pregnant and Lili didn’t tell their parents. The two of them moved in together and Penelope didn’t go home during the summer. She became a paramedic; not only for the experience, but the pay was damn good for a twenty year old.
