Penelope pov
Penelope sat in the waiting room until the morning sun rays came out over the horizon. It was a very long night. She was able to do some school work, but not much Penelope was just too worried. When the doctor finally came out Penelope shot up off the waiting room chair.
“Are you the one who brought in the John Doe?” Penelope was shocked the hospital wasn’t able to find out who he was. Penelope nodded,
“Yes is he okay?” The doctor let out a heavy sigh,
“He’s stable now. In a coma, honestly I don’t know how he is alive. The condition he was brought in, he should have been DOA.” The doctor looked at her, “That means-“
“I’m an EMT and a med student, I know what it means.” The doctor was shocked,
“Maybe your the reason he’s alive.”
