Chapter 25
“Ummm… last night was wonderful,” Janice purred as she woke up to face Toni, who was rubbing her back as she watched her sleep.
“Yes, it was baby, it always is with you,” Toni responded softly as she stroked her hair, knowing she was about to give Janice some news that was going to make her upset.
Toni knew she could handle Jared by herself, but she also knew she had to tell Janice what he was up to. Regardless of if Janice were with her or not, she knew by the hate in Jared’s voice that he did not want her with anyone else and would try to make her life hell if she was not with him.
Janice had every right to know of his current motives, and what he had done, if nothing but for her safety alone.
