Chapter 4
There was so much that Jared needed to tell Janice, but it never seemed to be the right time. He had to disclose at some point, the letter he received two weeks earlier that claimed he had responsibilities in which he needed to come back to San Francisco to take care of. The news would surely change the dynamic between the two of them, for the negative and he did not want that.
He knew the information would devastate her trust in him, and she would never be able to look at him the same again. Before he even received the unwanted information, his plans were to eventually move back to San Francisco, propose to Janice, and begin to build a life with her. They always wanted a family together, and he wanted to give her that.
