Chapter 8
“Come in,” Janice said dryly the next day at work as she sat at her desk feeling a little aggravated while finishing a cup of coffee.
“Welcome back Janice!” A few co-workers said as they peered in her spacious office.
The personnel at the station were a tight nit family for the most part, so when anyone was out, or not feeling well the crew really went above and beyond to welcome them back, even if they only missed one day of work.
After a few seconds of standing in the doorway, Matthew, Samantha, Cindy, and a few other co-workers stormed in excitedly with a huge stuffed animal, along with a get well soon card that each signed and presented to her.
