Sitting quietly, she doesn't move or fight. Her hands lift the full-face mask off. She looks at Jax; his hands tighten on the steering wheel. Yeah, she is in s**t, a whole world of s**t right now.
"Local bar you said, Melodie." Jax keeps his eyes on the road, his hands gripping the steering wheel tighter.
"It is a local bar. You just assumed it was the small, shitty thing at the end of the road."
He turns and glares at her. "Don't start, Melodie. Your dad needs to get his arse home and watch you because I can't. You're set to get yourself hurt or worse, killed. Hell, I ain't your brother and have had enough of chasing you around." Melodie sits looking at him.
"No one said you were my brother or expected to be, Jax. You just seem to have that thing where you expect me to see you as a brother, but deep down you want to f**k me." She is annoyed. Hell, she is pissed. Starlight Lounge was an amazing place. It made her feel alive and beautiful. He had just ruined all that, but worse, she knows they are all listening to this conversation.
"No, I am not, but as your dad said I am like your brother and you see me as your brother. Why the hell would you work there of all places, Melodie? The type of guys in there are the type you don't want to be near." The fact one was trying to drag her off the stage while she was practically naked is proof of that. His hands were clearly pulling at her underwear.
"Guys like you, Jax? You were there let's not forget, and I am guessing you are the guy Kian spoke about as well? Who sat at the bar staring at me?"
Melodie moves, hearing the voice. "Melodie, is it covered?"
She looks at Jax. Hell, she can't say yes with him here or he is going to ask yes what. She looks around her. She needs to get the earpiece out and quick.
"No, I was there watching Ethan. Nothing more, Melodie. Do you really enjoy it there?" He turns and looks at her.
"Yes. Everything is covered." She glances down at herself, answering his question while answering Dales’.
"Okay, Melodie. Get rid of the earpiece before he sees."
She sits resting her head on her hand, her eyes scanning the car. She doesn't have her bag and no pockets. She can't drop it in the car, there's a chance he will find it. Where the hell can she put it? Jax stops, and she looks at the house.
"Melodie, now, before he notices it."
She gets out, walking into the house quickly, trying to get inside so she can take out the earpiece and hide it. Her hands open the door. As she steps in, her body is pushed against the wall. Jax is standing right there. Her breathing is erratic, and she turns her head hiding her ear.
"God, I should spank the s**t out of you baby."
A small moan escapes her mouth hearing his words. "Sadly, Jax, I have no intention of letting you touch me ever again." She moves, stepping back.
"So, if I agreed right now to f**k you against the wall, you would say no, would you, Melodie? After years of teasing the hell out of me and making me hard. Now you will say no?" He steps forward. Melodie steps back.
"Yeah, because I lost interest. Thank you, Jax. Maybe it was the other night. Maybe it made me realise how little I crave you now?" She steps back again, watching as the hunger builds in his eyes.
"Melodie, get rid of it now for f**k's sake."
She stands looking at Jax, her eyes scanning around her. How the hell can she get this out and hide it without him noticing? Her heart rate speeds up.
"I need the toilet." She goes to move past him but his arms block the way.
"Why are you running, Melodie? Scared if I kiss you, you won't stop me?" Damn him! She struggles against his grip.
"Melodie, we're on our way."
She stares at Jax. No, they can't come here. "No, stop." She looks at Jax, hoping that Dale listens to her. "He will kill you; you know he will."
Jax looks at her confused, so she smiles at him.
"Your dad won't kill me, baby. He might shout for a moment, but then he will be damn glad I stopped you from going back there."
Her heart begins racing as his body continues pushing hers against the wall. She doesn't want to fight this, not at all. His hand slides over her body and her head turns to hide her ear once more. His mouth moves to kiss her breasts.
"You looked so f*****g hot up there, baby. Something, somewhere inside me knew it was you."
A small cry escapes her mouth as his hand pushes inside her pants, his fingers pushing straight into her s*x as she lets out a second small cry.
Damn, Jax, why now? She closes her mouth, trying to stop the moans. Dale will hear. The whole damn team will be listening now. His fingers move faster causing her to cry out again. His other hand grasps her chin and makes her look at him as his lips press against hers, his mouth kissing her cheek slowly and moving up to her ear. Her body freezes as she pushes against him.
"No, Jax. I don't want this." Her cry is loud as she feels his hand stop, his other hand turning her head.
"What the f**k are you doing, Melodie?" He takes the earpiece out and looks at it, stepping back.
"It's nothing. It's from the club so we can talk to them if there's an issue. That's all it is, I swear."
He laughs while looking at her. "Pretty awesome s**t for a club, Melodie. You either speak or I will make sure whoever is on the other end of this comes here, and I will get a f*****g answer." She stands staring at him. His hand drops the earpiece on the floor. "Have it your way, brat." His foot stamps down on it while Melodie stares at him.
"Okay, I will tell you. Just swear you won't kick off, Jax, and don't beat the s**t out of people."
He stands staring at her, waiting.
