Alex's POV

I pulled her in closer by the waiste with her hands around my neck. I began to kiss her on her neck as she had a face buried on my neck. I kissed her from the neck and upto her face and then we locked lips. Her lips tasted like sweet strawberry. Her lips were as soft and fluffy I just wanted to chew on them. She continued to kiss me while I messaged her back. I kissed her on the lips and back to the neck and back to her lips again. It was aggressive. She pushed me away and held me back by my collar. She pulled me to her office desk, I lifted her up by her thighs and onto the desk. She began to take off my clothes. My suit first then she started to unbutton my shirt while kissing me in the process. Then I stopped.

"Wait wait wait, Mia".

It looked like she wasn't even listening to me. She kept pulling my collar and moaning out my name. I held her hands and slowly took them off my shirt.

"Why did you stop?" She groaned.

"Mia we can't do this here. We are in public. We are in your office Mia". I whispered to her starring in her eyes.

"Alex!!" She groaned pulling the collar of my shirt.

"Mia calm down okay? Now isn't the right time. I'm sorry for initiating this." I apologized

"Are you kidding me Alex?, I'm the boss here and it's nobody's business whatever I do in here. It's my office afterall."

"Mia" I shrugged. Buttoning up my shirt and putting my suit back on.

"Okay wait I have an idea. How about we go to your place?!" She still insisted despite all my excuses. Deep down I regretted initiating this because I knew that I had secrets I wasn't ready to share yet. I didn't want to ruin what we were developing.

"Okay fine". I finally agreed

"Yay!" She jumped in excitement.

She arranged all her files and documents like she was waiting for this day to come. Obviously this is Los Angeles California this was very much normal here. I helped her with her bag and we walked down the stairs together with all eyes on us. I stood in the corner. While she walked upto a young lady of her age who seemed to be her secretary. She said something inaudible to my hearing. She nodded and then Mia continued to walk with me. We walked towards the car and I helped her get the door handing her bag over to her. I walked over to my side and we drove off to my mansion.

We drove into the compound when we got out of the car she looked the environment in amazement. "Wow! It's so big and beautiful" she was marveled at the size of the mansion. " I And you live in this big house all alone?" It was obvious that she was impressed

"Yea dear I responded. I love my peace and quiet. Come on let's go inside". I took her by the hand and we walked into the house. I took her bag from her and placed it on the centre table in the living room. I walked to the kitchen and poured in a glass of whine in a cup and offered it to her to drink. After a while we continued from where we stopped.

"So where were we?" She responded by wrapping her hands around me and leaning in for a kiss while I played along. I sat relaxing my back in the sofa while she sat on my laps facing me and kissing me all over my face my neck and my shoulders and rubbing herself against me. I lifted her up by the laps and carried her upstairs while we kissed. Straight to the bedroom I placed her on the bed. She stopped for a minute and starred straight into my eyes she gave off a smile and pulled me down aggressively. We started to kiss again. Our tongues came in contact with each other. She started to take off my suit. And unbutton my shirt. I took it off and immediately unbuckled my belt taking off my trouser. I helped her take off her maxi dress. She had on a sexy red bra and it's matching panties. While we were still kissing. I stopped again and slowly unhooked her bra. And she starred back right into my eyes. I whispered into her ears "I love you" then she continued to kiss me. I unhooked her bra and fondled and sucked her n*****s while doing that I went down on her. She moaned. I could feel her shaking. I woke up the next morning stretching my hands across the other side of the bed to feel and hug mia but it felt like she wasn't even on the bed. I stood up in shock and didn't even see her at all. I walked down stairs and straight to the kitchen. On my way I could perceive the delicious food she was making. Observing her body from the back. Her legs smooth and long. Her boobs and ass were a bit visible through the transparent shirt she had on. She had her hair arranged in a somewhat messy bun. I couldn't help but hug her from behind. "Good morning sunshine, I hope you slept well".

"Morning Alex. I slept well, I made breakfast for you. Come eat so you won''t be later for work

She immediately dished out a portions of the food for me. Then I ate up and went to take my bath so I won't be late for work. When I was done I noticed she had already changed her outfit I guess she had her bath before I even woke up.

"So I'll drive you home then?"

"Yeah of course I'll just need to change. I already called my assistant he'll take on from where I stopped. I'll probably ditch work today."

"Okay the no biggie." I helped her carry her bag as we walked outside of the apartment to the car and then I drove her home. While helping take her things to the trunk I heard the sounds of a camera flickering but I couldn't get where exactly the sound was coming from. I just assumed it's probably just some annoying paparazzi so I ignored. We drove straight to her apartment where I hugged her good bye and she left and walked inside.

I drove back to my place of work and saw Ethan my business partner walking up to me in a hurry.

"Good morning Alex the board members are here and have been waiting!"

I immediately got on my toes and walked straight to the board room. In there I noticed all of them starring at me in anger wondering why I kept them waiting. Waving my hand in the air and holding my suitcase with the other. I gave off a low apology walking straight to my seat. Before we began I apologized openly.

When the meeting was over people began to leave. As I was arranging my files and suitcase. Ethan walked up to me again and sat close to me. Starring right at me smiling.

"What Ethan?" Why are you smiling at me.

"How come you left the office early yesterday and returned very late this morning what have you been upto". In curiousity Ethan asked with a smile on his face

Before I said anything to him I stared and immediately got up from my seat "Ethan that's non of your business" I walked out and he immediately followed me pressurizing me to tell him where I went.

In my opinion Ethan and I are not just business partners but very very good friends. I've known him for quite a while. We do hang out most of the time like maybe grab a drink after work or on weekends. Ethan was like a brother to me.

"C'mon won't you tell me what's up? Are you seeing someone?"

"I stopped and starred at him in shock. I was surprised at how he guessed so correctly. It was almost like he knew me so well." I smiled sneakily.

Pointing fingers at me and smiling he said "right right got ya! Got ya!!. Wow". Ethan in serious shock. He kept mute like it took him a minute to digest and process this. "Okay this is going to be the story of the day. Start talking.

I actually wondered how Ethan got the perfect guess but I didn't put much meaning to it.

I just chuckled finally giving up on trying to escape this whole topic and situation "okay fine I'll talk. So yea I started seeing someone I guess. When I visited the charity event gala. I met a beautiful artist there. The most beautiful woman I've ever seen. With a very beautiful smile. She's very good at what she does all right. She's very good at painting. I just love everything about her already do I couldn't help but take her out for dinner to congratulate her for her win because her piece was the best and highest selling.".

"Wow ! Look who's giving love a chance again. This is great!" Ethan smiled giving me a pat on the back.

"So yeah let's get back to what we have for the day. Enough with the chit chat".

We continued working and discussing about work. I excused myself to go get a cup of coffee to drink. My phone buzzed. A call from an unknown number. I looked at it. I answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Hi Alex!!"

I recognized that voice and tone from anywhere. What did she want this time?.
