Looking through the entrance, my mind settled when my gaze fell on Odette, and I saw her coming from the end.
“I was scared you must have been attacked,” I said to her as she walked closer.
“Sh…let’s go in.” I ushered her as we walked through the entrance.
Getting into the kitchen, “Did you see him?” I asked, and she nodded, “Yes, I saw him.”
“Oh wow, that is good. Bless the moon goddess.”
“What happened?” I asked, curiosity hit me deep.
She informed me, “He has lost his pack, too, " and I felt a part of my heart aching.
“Oh, sorry. But was he able to agree to help us?” I asked, and she nodded.
“He and his fellow rogues have agreed to help us take over.” She informed me, and my happiness knew no bounds.
