Odette’s pov
I glanced at what they looked like now and couldn’t help but look away . Letting out a deep sigh, I was speechless.
“Odette, I don’t know how well to appreciate you for saving my life.” He said, and I turned back to look at him.
“I did nothing, Alpha.” I responded, and then he smiled, “You did a lot. If it weren’t for you, maybe their plan would have been successful, and I would have been dead by now.” He responded.
Maybe that was true; I nodded, wanting to return to my room. That was my only safe space, where I could cry my eyes out till I felt better to sleep off.
“Come with me, " he said. I couldn’t hesitate, so I followed.
When I got to his office, he offered me a seat. “Sit down, my daughter, " he said, my eyes scanning the space.
