The next morning I spent time with Thomas, preparing myself to tell him about Drew before we got deep in the forest to train. He felt it would be safer than the rooftop during the day, away from prying eyes. We began with a run around the perimeter of the pack grounds, sprinting through trees and bushes. As we came by the lake, we took a small break.
You may as well tell him now, like ripping off a band-aid, Thea muttered.
Here goes nothing.
"Hey Tommy? I gotta admit something to you."
"What's up kiddo?"
"Why do you even call me kiddo, we're barely a year apart?"
"Because you'll focus on that and stop worrying as much about what you got to tell me." Thomas said with a smirk, "Spit it out."
"Drew and I are kinda a thing now. Like boyfriend and girlfriend."
