Celeste POV
The meeting itself went over well. We were outside and I had just finished explaining about the rogues and that I was in fact, a Lunar. Most looked at me in awe, others asked questions. But what stood out to me the most was one pair of eyes that snickered when I mentioned I was a Lunar, "No way, they're just a old folks tale." He muttered.
"Do you have something you'd like to add Victor?" Kane's voice boomed over the group. He straightened himself up. "I apologize Alpha, I just have a hard time believing the words of the newcomer with absolutely no proof." He said, his eyes laced with sarcasm. "I understand your hormones are all over the place with just turning eighteen and gaining your wolf, but you will respect my word. If I say she is to be trusted, she is to be trusted.
