Chapter 3: Creator System Unlocked

"The four human beings from earth who's known from their talent are worthy to be reincarnated once again," Azrael began his explanation. Motioning his skeletal hands through the air in a gesture and an image of four symbols appeared in their presence. An unknown glyph of ancient scripture that Arion never saw in his entire life was inscribed above the girl on the farther left side. Unaware of what does it mean or what does it indicate, he noticed it was looked like an illustration of a black python hiding behind bushes. "The world where you'll be reincarnated has the concept of magic. In order to survive, you shall use spells. But your ability to use magic will be based on your talent from your previous lives." Azrael told the introduction of a massive cluster that'd be a slap on Arion's face. "Can you use the–" He raised his arm and before he could ask anything, Azrael threw a crumpled parchment on his face, a firm double kill. "Silence. I'm speaking." He's plainly irritated because he knew his scientifically-made inquiries will be thrown at him. "Sorry." The other three chuckled at his apology, he did not care though. "Ehem," Azrael cleared his throat even though he visibly doesn't have one. "Anyways, as I was saying, the girl from the farthest left side is a skilled assassin..." The boring description of the paragon of death wasn't the least bit interesting. For Arion, it looks like he was just babbling a plot story of some kind of novel he pulled from his library, though he doubts if a god or deity or whatever he is has that kind of concept. From the outside, he resembles a delinquent who never cared about the discussion, little did they know that when his focus was engraved in the study of reasoning, then there's no information can escape his clutches. Every detail, every word, and every punctuation Azrael was stating verbally were all being collected in his head as if a hard-drive that can save tons of memories. An estimated 60 bits per second for the maximum processing speed of a standard human brain and Arion has an exactly tenfold of what they call normal. Apparently, the other three that were about to be reincarnated together with him all came from a different timeline and even possibly multiverses of planet earth. It's a complex concept in which he himself is having a hard time understanding its true nature. Based on what he just learned, the first girl standing at the farthest left was a skilled assassin. Not just a killer that is experienced at nifty sleight of hand way of assassination, but she's the epitome of a true assassin who killed notable and important personalities around the world with her impeccable ability to put her victim under hypnosis. They consider her as the modern jack the ripper since no one knows her true name, let alone her true identity. Unfortunately, he still remembers how he was murdered when he was alive, calculating he should stay away from that girl no matter what. The man next to him was an eminent gladiator from around the 18th century. According to his photographic memory, he never heard his existence so he deduced maybe he's from a different multiverse. Nevertheless, his identity is the strongest man across the surface of the earth as he can make break a diamond using his bare hands and can resist an atomic explosion unscathed, truly a terrifying nemesis that can instill fear upon his foe. The all-knowing Arion wanted him to become his teammate though he doubts if it's allowed. Last but not least was probably the lady who can rival him when it comes to pure knowledge. After all, if he invented revolutionary machinery, then this lady has successfully mastered the true nature of the time and space continuum and has already found a way to traverse through time. She's a time traveler from the past, albeit she was dismissed when she was trapped in a time paradox, dying in a neverending void. These three human beings were all significant personalities who changed their world just like him. Arion thought only a prodigy could rival another spectacle. "The greatest assassin that ever existed, she has earned the class 'Shadow Weaver' and can use shadow magic. She can level up by killing people." Azrael expounded. "What about the guy next to her?" Arion asked. The guy has the symbol of a lion on a buckler representing his dominance. "He's the strongest human who has existed, earning him the class 'Knight Arcana' who uses magic as his strength. He can level up through overcoming challenges." Azrael sounded like a non-player character from an old game. "The lady next to him?" Arion was gazing at the symbol of the great phoenix burning in passion expressing her wisdom and knowledge. "The smartest person alive, she was given the class known as 'Arsmagus' who conjures devastating magic spells. She can level up by increasing her wisdom." The explanation ended but and there were two things that Arion disapproves of. "First of all, I'm sure I can rival her knowledge, second of all why you never showcased my talent?!" He was fuming in the presence of everyone. The Grim Reaper of the Underworld snubbed him and resumed what he was talking about. "Now, pick up a partner and I shall reincarnate you to a world where you shall realize the meaning of life." Azrael totally ignored him. "Hey! I said explain–" He was canceled when the man who is considered the strongest human grabbed the lady who's deemed as the smartest. "She and I shall become partners. Brawn and brain shall decide who'll be victorious!" The guy was obviously rowdy. In a blink of an eye where Arion's line of vision shrouds his sight, the assassin girl tucked his cloaked from behind saying. "I guess we'll be partners. We should stick together until the end." "Okay. This is escalating so quickly. Why the hell the person I hate in this room based on her background becomes my partner?" He's constantly bickering over the things that the Grim Reaper wanted to end the process as soon as possible. "So that's it, you'll see me again after you finish your true conquest. Just imagine I never met you all, adios!" That was the last thing he said before Arion and the other three fell on the translucent floor. "What kind of reference is that?!" The lady who was supposed to be his partner hugged her so tight that he forgot all his worries. The cloaked Azrael applied that hides their identity began to vanish. Arion's excited about what she really looks like. And thus he finally saw her truest form, and an extreme disappointment thundered on his mind in a grimace. The girl who's clinging to him while her eyes were closed was the girl he knew from the beginning. "My... LOVER?!" An irony to the fact he was reincarnated with the girl who killed him, an endless enigma of mysteries and questions rushed down inside Arion's head that he couldn't comprehend what's reality and fantasy anymore. "I wish this is all a dream..." He muttered as he descends. Gradually falling unconscious, disregarding that these strings of the event were all true, he lost cognizance so he can forget this lucid nightmare.
