“Likewise,” Lee said. “I have been looking forward to this evening.”

They walked to the car and he opened the passenger door for her. He walked around the car and hopped in the driver's side, fastened his seatbelt and looked up to see that she was looking at him with anticipating eyes.
He looked at her and said, “What?”
“I talked to Sarah. She told me that you jumped into John's planned revenge on Nolan, to save him from disaster.”
“It was pretty wild,” he said, shaking his head.
“You can't stop there,” Melissa said. “I want to hear all about what happened.”
