Chapter Thirty-ThreeOn Monday morning, Scott and Sarah were back in the courtroom once again, this time with Mark Dixon accompanying Michael Graber on behalf of Ellison.
“The clerk informs me that the parties have reached a settlement in connection with this matter,” Judge Burke said.
“Yes, your Honor,” Scott said, and Graber echoed.
“Do we need to put the settlement on the record this morning?”
“No, your Honor,” Scott said. “We negotiated the settlement agreement, and it was fully signed yesterday.”
“Well, you are all to be commended on achieving a resolution of the matter,” Judge Burke said, nodding. “Mr. Bailiff, please put the jury in the box.”
