Final Death scare

Dmitri looked at Darvel and he was completely surprised by the fact that he could now feel everything that Avira felt. He was happy about that but he could also feel how much disdain that she felt for him and for what had happened. He knew that he was going to have to prove to Avira that he truly cares for her and he knows that won’t be easy. He went into his room and took a shower and while he was doing that he was thinking of ways to prove his love for her. Later that night, as soon as Ravetta found where Avira was staying she came up with a plan to get rid of her.

That night Ravetta went into the morgue and got a bag of dead blood. She waited till Avira was gone for the night before she put the bag of dead blood in Avira’s fridge. She put it on top because she knew that Avira would probably grab the bag from the top. As soon as she put the bag of blood in the fridge she left. That night Avira was out among the town and she went to Sessiz Karanlik and she was in the middle of the dance floor when all of the sudden two arms wrapped around her waist and held her tightly. Avira knew who it was because of the strong aura that was surrounding him. 

Hmm hello Dmitri.

Hello Avira. You're looking delectable as ever.

Flattery isn’t going to get you anywhere with me Dmitri.

Ah can’t blame a guy for trying.

 Before she could go anywhere, Dmitri turned her around and kissed her. Once he broke away from the kiss, he knew that he was going to have to try hard to get her to accept him. After Avira left, she went directly to her house. As soon as she was in her house, she went over to her fridge and took out a bag of blood (Dead Blood) and opened it. She drank some of it and went to go sit on the bed. After a couple more drinks of the blood, she stood up and walked a few steps before she doubled over in pain. She dropped the blood and went to her knees and convulsed as she was trying to figure out what had happened. As soon as she passed out, Ravetta walked over to her and turned her over using her foot. 

Ravetta then leaned down and grabbed Avira by the back of her black leather jacket and pulled her over to her coffin and opened it. As soon as she had the coffin opened, she leaned down and grabbed Avira’s shoulders and put her upper half into the coffin first followed by her legs. As soon as Avira was in the coffin, Ravetta shut it and walked out of the house unaware that Avira had cameras in the house. Later that night at Sessiz Karanlik, Dmitri was having fun dancing when all of the sudden, something hit him like a brick wall. He felt as though his insides were shutting down and that is when he realized that Avira was in trouble. He figured out where she was staying and went there immediately. 

As soon as he got there, he went into the house and every step that he took could be heard clearly. As soon as he walked down the hallway he came to where the room splits, he looked down and saw a bag of blood on the ground and a blood drag tail leading to the coffin. He picked up the bag of blood and squeezed it so that the blood would come out. As soon as the blood started to come out he put his finger under it so he could taste the blood. As soon as he tasted it, he threw the bag to the ground and spit out the little that he tasted. He walked over to the coffin, his footsteps resounding as he was walking. 

As soon as he got to the coffin he pulled the lid open and that is when he saw Avira. Avira’s head was turned to the left and black veins were visible and she had black blood going down from her mouth to her chin and halfway down her neck. As soon as Dmitri saw this he leaned down and picked her up and took her out of the coffin. He put her down just a few feet from her coffin, he took off his jacket throwing it to the side as soon as he got it off and he rolled up his sleeves. He bit into his arm and held his arm over Avira’s mouth to give her blood. He stopped and picked her up so her upper body was lying being supported by his knee, he began to breathe very heavily as he was doing this. He resumed giving her blood, he looked up and growled out.

CCOOMMEE OONN!

Still breathing heavily he repositioned her body yet again and he put his hand to her mouth again but she wasn’t drinking like she should. After realizing that she wasn’t going to drink he put the hand that was giving her blood around her head and cradled her to him. He let out a monstrous and defeated scream. After that he put his head to hers and kissed her forehead. Suddenly she took a shallow breath and he looked at her worriedly. As soon as he knew that she was going to live he cleaned all the blood off of her before picking her up and taking her back to his place. Just before he picked her up, he grabbed his black leather jacket and put it on. 

After he picked her up and started to head out he saw that she had computers and a surveillance system. He took the drive because he wanted to know who did this to her. As soon as he got to his Mansion, he carried her bridal style and as soon as he got into the mansion, he placed her on the piano. As soon as he got his coat off, he picked her up and took her to the bedroom. He laid her down on the bed and he sat down and placed her head on his lap. He was looking at her with worry clearly evident in his eyes. He put his left hand on her shoulder and was stroking it down her arm. He decided to figure out who was responsible for doing this to Avira. He went downstairs and he went to his techie who was looking at her hard drive that he took from the computers that were hooked up to the surveillance camera.

 As soon as the techie got into the system, he discovered that it was Ravetta who was responsible for what happened to Avira. He didn’t like being betrayed and betrayal isn’t acceptable with Dmitri. He went to the vault and grabbed the wooden dagger and as soon as he had that he went to find Ravetta but before he did, he went to check on Avira. As soon as he saw that Avira was asleep, he went to find Ravetta. He found her in the one place where she likes to go and lick her wounds. As soon as she saw Dmitri, she knew that it wasn’t going to be good. 

Dmitri, don't I get a trial first before I’m to be executed?

In my world, betrayal doesn’t deserve one.

I would like to say something first if I may?

Understand something Ravetta. Me changing doesn’t give you justification to kill the one that holds my heart. If Avira were to die I would kill whoever killed her and than I would kill myself to be with her. She holds my heart.

Dmitri handed her the dagger with a wooden blade.

Ravetta you know what you must do.

Dmitri started to walk away and before he was out the door.

Dmitri is this how it ends for us?

Ravetta kneeled down and took out the dagger from its holder, she pointed it at herself and she drove it into her own heart. After Dmitri was finished with taking care of Ravetta, he went back to his room and saw that Avira was still asleep. He went over and laid down beside her and put his arm over her. At the contact Avira turned over and curled into him. Dmitri couldn’t help the smile that formed on his face when Avira curled into his side. He leaned down and kissed her forehead and then put his head on hers and closed his eyes and went to sleep. Avira woke up and she saw that she was in Dmitri’s arms. She tried to get up but his arms that were wrapped around her tightened. With all of her movement Dmitri had woken up.

Why did you save me?

Avira, did you really expect me not to save you where you were at death’s door?

Yes I was content with letting death take me.

That night on your birthday when we raided your village. The reason I stopped my vampires from attacking you, was because when I looked at you I felt a deep connection that I know you feel you are just blocking it. I knew that you were the one that I am meant to be with.

Look Avira the need for blood is a strong one and it is one that if you try to fight it will do more harm than it does good. I understand that my sister turned you when you were only five but please know that I am here for you whenever you need me to be.

Avira got up and went into the bathroom and took a quick shower. As soon as she was done in the shower she came out and grabbed her clothes. Once she was dressed she left Dmitri’s mansion. Instead of going back to her house, she decided to go on a little trip. Avira went to the house and got some clean blood and got going. She headed back for her small town of Braedon to which she hasn’t seen in 18 years. As soon as she got there she was overwhelmed by all the emotions that were going through her about the time when her father was murdered. She still never fully accepted the fact that she was now the last of the Darkmoore line. She spent two weeks in her old house and she found that her father’s safe was safe. She opened it by inputting the code.

The second she opened that safe she couldn’t believe what she had seen. Her father left her the house, the money and her mother’s jewelry. While she was going through the papers that were in the safe she discovered that she was the owner of the town Braedon. Avira was so surprised by the fact that she is the owner of the town of Braedon. She cleaned up her old house and she had her coffin with the water brought to Braedon. She had the coffin put in the basement of her house. Even though the town of Braedon was abandoned, she went around the town and got the place looking back to normal. 

Back in Okrith, it has been three weeks since Dmitri last saw Avira and he was becoming concerned for her. He went to the house where she was staying and saw that she hadn't been there. He became worried when he didn’t find her anywhere. He called her hundreds of times and they all went to voicemail and he sent out his vampires to search for her. He will be damned if he loses her after he just found her. He wanted her back in his arms. Through the connection that they share, he can tell that she is alive and well so he is happy about that but what he doesn’t like is the fact that he doesn’t know where she is. He really doesn’t like that fact. The longer that she is away the crazier she becomes. He can’t stand to have the one he loves so far away.

Back in Braedon, Avira then decided to make it a supernatural refugee town where any supernatural without a home can go and begin a new life. After getting the town cleaned up and started she decided to head to Tregaron. She wanted to see how Sithandra, Malachi and Treznor were doing. She figured that she would have pity on Dmitri considering it has now been a full month away from him. She took out her phone, turned it on and saw that she had four hundred eighty nine calls from Dmitri. She hit his number and on the second ring he answered.

Hello?

Hello Dmitri.

Avira, is that you?

It is me.

(deep sigh of relief) where are you?

I’m fine, I just had to get away for a while.

Where are you at?

I’m on my way to Tregaron.

Where have you been?

For the last month I have been in Braedon.

I’m on my way to you please be safe when I get there. 

I am just going to visit some old friends.

Ok but still please be safe when I get there, with you being gone for so long my inner beast will be out for blood if I see you being harmed.

I understand I will be fine.

I’ll see you in an hour.

After Dmitri hung up with Avira, he let out a breath of relief and he started to visibly relax. Everyone knew not to go near him when he was tense and when Darvel came into the nightclub where Dmitri was before he went in he poked his head in and made sure that Dmitri wasn’t going to lawp his head off the moment he entered. As soon as he saw Dmitri he could tell that something must’ve happened because he isn’t as tense or as snappy as he has been for the past month. He went into the nightclub cautiously. As soon as Dmitri saw him he could tell that he was nervous.

Darvel there is no need to be nervous around me.

How are you doing today mi’lord?

I’m doing a lot better today.

Avira finally got in touch with me.

Oh that is good, did she say where she has been hiding?

She went back to her hometown Braedon and she told me that she is on her way to Tregaron.

Tregaron?

To werewolves. It is said that Tregaron is a central den to the werewolves and their leader Treznor is known to be the most ruthless of them all.

Oh no Avira is on her way there right now not knowing that. She'll be slaughtered on sight.

Dmitri ran out of the club like his life depended on it. He jumped into his Audi X10 and made his way to Tregaron to save the love of his life. Avira had just gotten into Tregaron and once she did she went to the house she once stayed at. As she was walking up the drive, Sithandra burst from the door. As soon as she saw that it was Avira, she went over to her and hugged her. Avira wrapped her arms around Sithandra and hugged her back.

Malachi, come quickly. Avira has returned.

As soon as Malachi heard Avira's name he burst out of the house and had his arms wrapped around Avira quicker then you could say his name.

Oh Avira, it is good to see you again.

Hello Malachi, how are you doing?

I'm better now that I know that you're safe.

Mayor Treznor will want to see you.

Wait, I know what all of you are. So I take it that you know what I am.

Yes we do sweetie. Mayor Treznor informed us when he saw the bite mark on your neck had already healed.

So I take it that Mayor Treznor is also a werewolf?

Mayor Treznor is the alpha meaning the leader of our pack.

Sithandra, Malachi, and Avira made their way to Mayor Treznor's house. As they were walking a bunch of people were staring and glaring at Avira for being different. As they were glaring they were also snarling at her and she just stood her ground and acted like it didn’t bother her. As they approached Mayor Treznor's house, they were stopped by his most trusted general Reznor. Reznor could sense that there was a vampire among them and vampires were the mortal enemy of werewolves. 

Which one of you is the vampire?

That would be me.

You need to leave our territory now and never come here again or you will be killed on sight.

Hmm let me think about it...no.

What did you just say to me, vampire?

I guess your brain isn’t fully developed yet. I said no.

Do you know who you're picking a fight with?

An idiotic imbecile who needs to back the hell off.

By this time an entire crowd of people had begun to form and they saw that the vampire was challenging their beta (second in command). They were surprised by the vampire’s bravery and as for the beta he was getting stymied. 

I will give you one last chance to leave our territory or less.

Reznor had had enough of the vampire’s arrogance and shifted into his wolf thinking that it would intimidate Avira. However Avira wasn’t intimidated and when she smirked that caused Reznor’s heckles to go up and he ran at her and just as he was about to attack Avira was pulled out of the way. Reznor bowed his head in respect to his alpha. Avira turned around and saw that the person who pulled her out of the way was Mayor Treznor. Mayor Treznor looked at all of his pack and they could tell that the alpha was not happy. 

Listen to me, Avira may be a vampire but she is welcome here and anyone who tries to harm her will answer to me. Do I make myself clear?

Yes alpha.

Treznor turned to look at Avira and smiled at her. Treznor and Avira headed into the house and sat down in the living room.

Hello Mayor Treznor.

Hello Avira, it is nice to see you again.

 How have you been?

I’ve been good, how about you?

I’ve been living in the city and starting a new life.

You had Sithandra, Malachi and I was pretty worried about you.

I’m sorry about that but I couldn’t drag you down.

Avira, I want you to know that you have family here. You can always come to me if you need help.

All of a sudden there was a loud sound coming from outside and both Treznor and Avira looked at each other and went to see what was going on. As soon as they were outside, Avira locked eyes with Dmitri. As soon as Dmitri saw that Avira was standing next to Treznor his eyes turned red and he got angry. He tried to get to her but all of the werewolves got in his way and he started fighting with them. Avira realized that either Dmitri was going to kill all of them or they were going to kill Dmitri. As she tried to go down to stop the fight, Treznor grabbed a hold of her arm and tried to keep her by him. She managed to get free and she went directly over to Dmitri which caused Treznor to order the other werewolves to stop attacking. Avira puts her hands on Dmitri’s face and tries to calm him down.

Dmitri stops. I’m fine. Look at me, I’m ok, they didn’t hurt me.

Dmitri looks at her and pulls her to him and kisses her forehead.

Thank god you're ok. I hate werewolves, they're a bunch of idiots and pains in my ass.

Dmitri I’m fine. Calm down.

Are you sure that they didn’t hurt you?

Just after Dmitri said that, Treznor came into view and glared daggers at Dmitri.

We would never hurt her unlike you?

Just how did I hurt her? She is my love.

Did you really just say that we’re lower than you? The last time I checked we don’t drink blood unlike you bloodsucker.

After Avira yelled that everyone shut the hell up. Dmitri looked at her painfully whereas Treznor looked at her with anger in his eyes.

Avira, why would you protect this bloodsucker?

As soon as she said that the entire pact had a “What the f**k did she just send our alpha to a corner” Look. They thought to themselves “I think she just did, the bloodsucker too. Damn, let's not piss her off.” Both Dmitri and Treznor were completely stunned at the fact that Avira was sending them to a corner. 

Avira, you know that you can’t command us right.

I don’t care what you are. The both of you are acting like a bunch of f*****g children fighting over the same goddamn beautiful woman. Till you can act like grown ups to a corner NOW or you’ll force me to drag you there by your ears.

Treznor looked to Dmitri and vice versa and they scrambled for a corner. The pack was both dumbfounded and awestrock. If Avira looked at them they immediately put their head down like timid little puppies submitting to the more powerful creature. Reznor snuck up behind Avira and grabbed her shoulders, lifting her up over his head and threw her into the side of the house. “OOOF” Avira landed with a “thud” when she got up, her eyes were as red as blood on fire. She got up and she was instantly in front of Reznor. He tried to hit her but his arm was caught by Avira and she twisted behind his back. Once she twisted his arm around his back, you could hear bones breaking and cracking. She picked him up and threw him into a tree and he landed on the ground with a whimper. He got back up and he ran at her and he thought that she was no match for him, oh how wrong he was. She sidestepped and grab the back of his neck. He struggled against her and eventually realized that he couldn’t get out of her grip and submitted. Before she dropped him like the trash that he was, she delivered a punch to his ribcage so hard a sickening “c***k” was heard. After she dropped him he remained a wolf for a while till it wasn’t as painful to shift back to his human form. He looked at Avira with furious eyes but he knew that if he attacked her again that he would die. 

GO TO YOUR ROOM AND STAY THERE.

She commanded him and he had to obey her. She called Dmitri and Treznor over

Dmitri, Treznor come here.

Not wanting to go back to the corner, Dmitri and Treznor turned to each other and shook hands reluctantly. After they did that, they turned to see that Avira was pleased with them. The pack thinking to themselves “What the f*****g hell did I just see? Did our...Alpha just obey a vampire?” Some of the werewolves were laughing at the sight of their alpha obeying his mortal enemy. Dmitri looked at Avira and saw that she was bruised and he went over to her. 

My love, what happened?

Reznor surprisingly attacked me and threw me into the side of the house.

He...WHAT? 

Calm down, I handled it.

Avira, where is he?

He is in his room where he is to stay till I am gone.

Avira let us go back to the city and get you something to feed on in order to heal.

Ok Dmitri let's go.

It was a pleasure seeing you again Avira. Even if it was for a little while.

Dmitri led Avira to the car and opened the passenger door for her. Once she was in he went to the other side and got into the driver's side. He started the engine and the car roared to life. He pulled out of the drive and sped away leaving the werewolves behind. Dmitri looked over at Avira and saw that she was leaning against the door with her head against the window. He knew that she was hurt and needed to feed. He took his right hand and wrapped it around her shoulder bringing her to lean her head on his shoulder. She fell asleep on the drive back to the city. As soon as Dmitri pulled up outside of the nightclub, he shut off the car and got out.

He went to Avira’s side and picked her up and took her inside the club going for the office. Once in the office he went to get a mortal that she could feed on. Out on the dance floor scanning for a human, he found a girl that could be no older than 25. He went over to her and he grabbed her hand and took her into the office. The girl looked like she was going to break but she just stood still while Dmitri closed and locked the door. He then went over to Avira and kissed her to wake her up. 

Wake up my love.

Hmm what is it?

I have someone for you to feed from.

No. 

My love you need to feed or your predator instincts will take over and you will be in a bloodlust rage.

Upon hearing that Avira sat up and looked to the girl who Dmitri had brought for her to feed on. She got up and went over to the girl. She circled the girl and when she was behind her, Avira moved the girl’s hair away from her neck. As soon as Avira had a good view of the girl’s neck, her fangs protruded out and she bit into the girl’s neck. As soon as Avira’s fangs bit into the girl’s neck the girl started to thrash around trying to get out of her grip. Avira opened her now red eyes and looked to Dmitri.
