Supreme Divine Hybrid

Dmitri looked at Ashia like she grew two heads. He looked at Avira and he couldn't believe that she was a target for the supernatural world. He went over to Avira and moved some of her hair behind her ear. She looked so innocent and scared of what she was. Dmitri couldn't imagine what she must be going through being a werewolf/vampire/witch all in one. Being all three species makes her stronger, faster, deadlier than any of the species. Dmitri knows that Treznor alpha of the werewolves won't harm her. Him being the master vampire won't allow any vampire to harm her so that leaves the witches.

Ashia, who is the high witch?

The highest witch of all witches is Maev Grimsbane. She practices both black and white magic and she is the one that won't allow for an “atrocity” like Avira to live.

Avira isn't an atrocity!

I know she isn't. It has been prophesied that a protector of the supernatural realm will arrive as a hybrid of all three species.

That puts a huge target on her.

Yes that is why she is going to need you beside her.

What do you mean by that?

Dmitri, Avira is the only one of her kind and she is going to have many enemies. She is going to need your support. You need to be her rock and protect her.

I will always protect her.

  Dmitri then picked up Avira and carried her bridal style and took her back to her house. As soon as he was inside the house he shut the door with his foot and once the door was closed he took her upstairs to her room. Once in her room he laid her at the bottom of the bed and pulled down the comforter and sheets. Once he had the bed turned down, he went back to Avira and he took off her shoes. As soon as he had her shoes off, he went over to the dresser and pulled out her silk nightgown and took it back over to her. Dmitri put the nightgown down on the bed next to her and sat her up and took off her t-shirt revealing that she was wearing a black lace bra. He bit his lip to control the lustful thoughts that were going through his mind. He grabbed the nightgown and put it on. As soon as he had the nightgown on her, he unbuttoned her jeans and took them off and pulled the nightgown down over her legs. He picked her up and put her on the bed and gently lowered her head down on the pillows. 

He pulled the sheets and comforter up and over her tucking her in. He went on the other side and took off his shirt and shoes but left his jeans on. He slipped in behind her and wrapped his arms around her, encasing her in his warmth and love, assuring her that she wasn't alone. Later that night while Dmitri and Avira were sleeping Avira tossed and turned till she found a comfortable spot which was her head on Dmitri’s shoulder and her arm wrapped around his chest. 

She felt like she was safely curled into Dmitri’s side. The next morning, Dmitri woke up and when he tried to get up, he found that he couldn’t. He looked down and found that the reason he couldn’t get up was because Avira was using him as a pillow. He smiled at that and he put his arms around her and encased her and fell back asleep. Around nine a.m. Avira awoke and she weaseled her way out of Dmitri’s grip and went to the bathroom. Once she was done in the bathroom she went back to her bedroom and saw that Dmitri was still passed out. 

Once she saw that he was still asleep, she decided that if she was going to be up and about so was he. She went out of the door and into the hallway and she got a running start and she dive bombed him. He awoke with a gasp for air and his inner predatory instincts took over and his eyes turned red, his fangs protruded and his claws came out. As soon as he saw that it was Avira that did that to him, he ran after her and tried to tackle her. He eventually tackled her into the bed and he ravaged her neck with kisses. He kissed her all the way down to where the nightgown was covering. He growled at the fact that he was being denied what he truly wanted. He hoped that she would stop teasing him and allow him to make her eternally his. 

Dmitri startled to tickle her and that is when her fangs and claws came out and her eyes turned golden red. The teasing between Dmitri and Avira soon turned into a fight for Dominance. They were rolling around trying to pin each other down and she decided that she would let him think that he has her pinned down when she is just toying with him. Dmitri was on top of her and he thought to himself, “Hmm, why do I get the sense that she is luring me into a trap and why do I feel like I’m not going to like what she has planned for me?” He looked into her eyes and he could see the mischief that was going through her mind. Avira suddenly stopped and got off of him. Dmitri couldn’t understand why she stopped.

Before Dmitri could say a word, Avira shifted into her full wolf self and she went to the window and opened it and she jumped onto the tree that was out there. Dmitri didn’t understand as to why until the bedroom door flew off its hinges. Maev Grimsbane walked through the door and she did a spell that immobilized Dmitri. He then understood as to why Avira turned into her full wolf self. Maev didn’t see Avira because she blended into the darkness outside. Maev moved in front of the window and turned her back to outside and all of the sudden Avira’s golden red eyes opened and when she saw that Maev was going to hurt Dmitri she ran across the branch and jumped through the window and landed on Maev.

 Maev didn’t expect that and she had a look of sheer terror and surprise. She tried using a spell on Avira but it was ineffective and she realized that she was going to have to do something because if she doesn’t she is going to die. She managed to inject Avira with liquid silver but it didn’t do much to her because of the other two species. All Maev Grimsbane was doing was pissing Avira off and that isn’t a smart thing to do. As soon as Maev realized that she was in trouble she looked at Dmitri and she figured that if anyone could get her to stop it would be him.

Dmitri gets her to stop.

Why should I help you? I mean after all you are the one that wants to kill the love of my life so why should I help you?

Look it isn’t personal but there can’t be such an imbalance of power between the species. Avira being a hybrid with all three species there is an imbalance of power because she has the power of all three and none of their weaknesses.

I don’t care, I'm not going to help you kill Avira. She is the love of my life and I will soon rip my heart out before killing her.

Dmitri please.

Avira looked at me.

Avira looked up and looked at him and she could tell that he was telling her that it was ok for her to kill Maev. Maev wants to kill Avira and so Avira wasn’t going to show any mercy. Dmitri thought of a different way to make her pay. He went over to Avira and put his hand on her shoulder to stop her from killing Meav. She looked at him with her golden red eyes and she could see that he had something that would be far more brutal instead of a quick death. She got off of Maev and he grabbed her by her collar and pulled her to her feet. Dmitri took her outside and tied her hands behind her and then tied her to the wooden pole that was in the middle of the square. Everyone saw that and they came out of their houses and tried to figure out what was going on.

People of Braedon, I would like you to meet the witch that is trying to kill your leader, your friend, your ally, and most importantly your protector, the one who saved you all from the situations that you were in. This woman here wants to kill Avira just because she is different from the rest of us. You all know that Avira isn’t just a vampire or a werewolf but she is also a witch. She dedicated herself to make this town a safe haven for all that need a place to escape. Are you the people who Avira saved going to allow this woman to kill the person who saved you and gave you a new life, or are you going to stand up and defend the woman who gave you a new life.

Everyone looked around at each other and they knew that Avira saved them and they were going to repay the favor by protecting her. The hybrids felt the most offended by what the witch Maev was doing and they took matters into their own hands. They got a whole bunch of gas and oil and spread it around her and on her. Ashia made a fireball form in her hand and when Maev saw that, she looked to Dmitri and pleaded with him to save her. 

Dmitri please don’t let them do this to me.

I’m not the one that you should be asking that.

Then who should I be asking?

You know who.

All of the sudden a loud howl was heard and from the highest roof Avira jumped down and landed on her feet. She was still in her wolf self. She looked up and as soon as she saw Maev she bared her canines and she ran her tongue along her teeth. Her eyes were no longer golden red but black with red slits. Maev realized that she wasn’t going to win when going against Avira because she is stronger than Maev anticipated. She realized that if she was going to survive that she needed to plead for her life to Avira who she doesn’t think is going to allow her to live because she wants her dead. 

Maev looked at her and she begged for her life silently and Avira could see that she was begging for her life with just one look in her eyes but Avira didn’t care because Maev wouldn’t think for a second about killing her so why should she do the same thing. Yes Avira cares about people but she doesn’t care about people who try to kill her. She values people but when people try to kill her she will think about her own safety before she thinks about other people. Avira’s self preservation supersedes the self preservation of other people when her life is on the line. 

Avira shook her head signifying that she wasn’t going to let her live. As soon as all the hybrids saw that Ashia threw the fireball and ignited the gas and oil. As soon as the fire hit the gas and oil Maev lit up like a candle. Dmitri looked towards Avira and saw that she was still in her wolf form. Avira felt Dmitri’s eyes on her and she looked towards him and nodded her head towards him and then took off running into the woods. He understood that she was going to be in that state for quite a while. Over the ensuing days, Dmitri hasn’t seen nor heard from Avira and now he was beginning to get a little worried about her. He wasn’t going to search for her because he didn’t know what kind of state she was in. A month had passed and that is when Dmitri decided to get some help in looking for Avira. He went to Tregaren and was going to speak with Treznor.
