Helping Brittany

Next day during lunch, I placed my new mobile on the table and cleared my throat. Just like Viktor had done last night during our dinner date. All my friends were staring at my mobile with mouth wide open. Just like my reaction yesterday.

It was the latest model of iPhone.

"My birthday gift from Viktor" I said proudly.

Last night, I was so happy when Viktor gave me my gift, but being a good girl, I told him that he don't have to buy such expensive gift for me and I can't take it. But he told me it was gift for all my 18 birthdays that he had missed. He is the cutest and sweetest. I can eat him.

I had jumped on him, ya literally jumped and kissed him endless. He was so surprised with my reaction. We took so many photos together. I was on my mobile whole night, checking out all the features. He scolded me in end to sleep or else he would take it back.

While my friends were still checking my phone, I saw Brittany coming in cafeteria and asked her to join us. She hesitated but I went and brought her to our table.

From that day onwards, she was always with us. She was getting comfortable around us and even smiled and talked a bit.

We even went out together at times, like on double date. Me, Viktor, Jake and Brittany. She was getting used to being around Jake.

Her stepmom hardly allowed her out. During one of our shopping trip, I had backed out purposely at last moment and pushed them to go together. Jake beamed with happiness whenever he was with Brittany.

I and Viktor started with our training too. True to his words, Viktor was tough on me. He made me work hard. At times we went for run in the forest. Rex was huge with dark brown silky fur. He was strong like an Alpha. Ara was tiny in front of him with light grey fur. She had to work hard to keep up with him. Rex was mesmerized with Ara, she could even make him dance on her tunes. They loved each other.

After few days

I didn't see Brittany at Cafeteria. She never missed school, because it was her only chance to be away from her home.

"Have you seen Brittany?" I asked Michelle.

"No, I didn't see her in any of the class" she told me.

I was worried a bit. I somehow was getting bad feeling out of this. I hoped her mom had not abused her badly. I called her. She picked up the call immediately.

I was relieved.

"Hey Brittany, where are you?" I asked

She didn't reply. But I heard some noise and sobs. She was talking in such low voice, I would not have been able to pick it, if I were not a werewolf.

"S..stay ...away...fro...from me.. " I heard her say. Then I heard the rough male voice.

"Come on babygirl, lets have fun" I froze hearing that oh, goddess hope its not what I think. I start running towards her house. Its not far from school, on the way I called Jake.

"Jake, come to Brittany's house, NOW!" I told him.

"Jia, what happened? Is she ok? Are you ok? Why are you panting?" He asked horrified.

"I..I...am running to...to... her house, am almost... there, you...you....come there too. Something.... is not right" I told him between my breaths.

I dashed inside her house, her mom was standing in living room, counting huge cash that was in her hand.

"Where is Brittany?" I yelled at her

"She is making herself useful" she said with evil smirk on her face.

I heard noises from the adjoining room and walked towards it. Brittany's mom tried to stop me but I pushed her and went inside. Luckily door was not locked.

But the scene inside, drained all the blood from my body. Brittany was struggling and pushing a very huge, bulky man and he was tearing her clothes away.

I had to do something, that guy was huge and me being werewolf too, won't be able to tackle him alone. But out of impulse, I went and grabbed his jacked, pulled him away from Brittany, pushed him on floor and kicked on his manhood. He wailed with pain.

Due to the sudden change in action, he was stunned to understand what was happening, taking the opportunity, I took hold of Brittany's hand and started running towards door. But he was fast, he came towards us like a charging bull and grabbed our hair from behind.

"I din pay that money to get kicked, now I'll have both of you" he said laughing. He dragged us back to room and pushed Brittany on the bed. Then slapped me across my face really hard. I saw stars.

"That's for kicking me" he said.

The very next moment he was punched on his face. He left me and stumbled flat on the floor, spitting blood.

"That's for hurting my girl" I knew that voice. It was Viktor. He came for me. I turned around to look at him, his eyes were turned to blue.

"Rexxx....." I said and blacked out.
