Morning Pill

Jia's Pov

Next morning when I wake up, the first thing I do is to take the morning pill. I keep looking at the small pill in my palm, thinking if I was ready for motherhood. The thought itself got me tensed and I popped that pill in my mouth quickly.

Not yet, I need to talk to Vik about it. I look at him still sleeping peacefully. It brings smile to my face to see him this relaxed, he hardly gets time for himself. We need to go to our cabin soon to spend some time together.

"Jia, sweetie where are you?" Mom asked me through mind link

"Mom, you are here?" She was here to help for the preparations

"Yes, am at dinning area come fast"

"Ya, give me 15 minutes."

I took shower and got dressed quickly. When I reach down at dinning area, there was lots of hustle going on. Everyone was busy with last moment preparations. I saw my mom in the crowd and hugged her tightly.

"I missed you mom."

"If you miss your mom so much than why don't you come and visit her."

"Mooommm! you know, how things are."

"Hmm I understand."

"Please stay with us today. No. I am not listening to anything, you have to say. Any ways it will be late for party to get over, Please please please please please..."

"Ok! ok! don't behave like a child, what will Viktor say. We will stay a pack house in one of the room, happy now" I beamed with joy.

"Yaayyyy! Where is dad?" I did the happy dance.

"He had some work, he will come in evening."

"Ok, I have some work, will see you later"

I had to do some touchup on the cake and it took me more than four hours to finish it. I had late lunch and went to our room to get ready.

"Where are you my blueberry cheesecake?" I know he gets annoyed with my names for him and I looooved doing it.

"I am at our room getting dressed my....ehh!.. Jia"

It made me giggle at his failed attempt to give me some name. I reached our room and opened the door. Viktor was already dressed.

Well he did looked like a blueberry cheesecake with his light blue blazer and beige pants. There is no point in mentioning it again and again that he looks devilishly handsome. I mean, he can even awake dead with his looks.

"Why are you dressed so early?" I asked him.

"I have to be at borders to welcome the guests" I huffed.

"Why is it that everything has to be done by you? Can't you send someone else"

He came and pulled me closer to him, wrapping his arms around my waist.

"As head warrior it is my duty to protect..."

"To project pack borders, pack territories, Pack members, pack guests, Alpha, Luna, Beta, gamma and list goes on." I completed.

"Yes, and as a mate, its my responsibility to project you from any threat." He said banging his head with mine.

"Oh my, head warrior will be my personal bodyguard." I mocked him.

"Why are you being so sarcastic" he asked, I could feel he was hurt.

Ugh! Why am I behaving like a b***h, didn't mom say its difficult being mate to a warrior! I have to stand by him strongly and support him in doing his duties, and here I am just adding to his stress.

"I am sorry, I...I don't know why...even Ara is being cranky too...

"Hey don't put your bad mood on me." Ara said.

"Its ok, I can understand and I want to tell you this that your safety is my utmost priority and if anything happens to me than I want you to be strong and live your life at fullest extent and....and...

"And what Vikor kent?" what was he saying? He had again fuelled my rage.

"And I want you to...like if there is war and if..IF...I may not make it than you... You will choose a mate for yourself and..." He stammered saying that while scratching his brows with his thumb.

"WHAT???" I yelled pushing him away from me and crossing my arms.

"How. Dare. You. Say. That.

"You want me to choose another mate if you die? And what if I die, you will choose a mate and live happily?" I went close to him and spoke in low whisper.

He growled loudy

"See, how you react, Than why do you expect me to..." I was panting by this time

"Nothing is happening to you ok and hell with that Black Devil. He is nothing in front of you and don't you dare let anything happen to you, ok" I said holding his collar and then dashed to bathroom banging the door loudly, locking my self inside.

"Jia baby listen... Jia... cupcake?...cheee.. cheese cake?... love... sweetie.. I am sorry."

I was crying mess but his words made me smile. He was still trying to remember more endearments, knocking at the door

"Sweetheart...darling please open the door, Jia.... pumpkin pie.?.... Sugar cubes?...

I was laughing badly covering my mouth

"See what you did to a ferocious Warrior wolf" Ara said shaking her head.
