Moving
Chapter 1   It was a dark, cloud and stormy in night in the town of Crystalville. Iris was a young woman who just moved to Crystalville. She had some secrets no one knew of. Crystalville was a small town with a few people that were there to find peace. Iris was ready for this change: no more Bill and a place she could start fresh… Or so she thought On this stormy night Iris got to the house she bought a few weeks back. At the door she turned the key and walked into a place filled with passion and something unique as she saw it. She did have an eye for fixer uppers. She was going to make it her own. As she brought in her luggage, she saw her neighbor. He drove right past her and stopped at his house. While she was moving her stuff into the house, he went to see who she is. “It’s a strange night to move into this house.” He said. “This house?” she replied. “Yeah. If you didn’t notice it kind of a fixer upper.” he said. “The way I see it, it has potential and I like making a place my own.” she said. He slightly giggled “I am Liam by the way.” “Iris” she replied. He offered help her with some things. Not long after he helped her, he left. The next morning, she forgets about breakfast and decided to go to the nearest diner. As she walked through the streets of Crystalville thinking of her life in this little town. At the dinner she went to a booth in the corner. The waiter came to her and did not recognize and asked if she was new in town. She replied with a yes and asked about what she would recommend. Iris ordered some breakfast and a smoothie. Just as she was about to eat Liam showed up. “Good morning Iris, Mind if I join?” he asked “No, please sit.” He had coffee and a breakfast with her. Iris did not like coffee at all. Liam explained to her why coffee id good, but she did not see it. They talked the whole morning. After Iris told Liam that she has to go to a meeting In a few minutes. They greeted and she left. Dory, the diner owner, and Liam were siblings and she poked him in the ribs as he was daydreaming. She asked him who this woman was. He told her she was new in town. His sister replied she was pretty, and he smiled and left. Iris went to the office of the Architect. It was a big building and she was surprised that Crystalville had an Architect building. She went inside a vintage office where she waited. The office door opened and a young man with bright blue eyes and blonde her wearing a suit told her to come in. “You must be the new girl who bought The Crystal house?” He asked. She replied yes and smiled. “I hope you like my ideas for the house, I am a little old fashion as you can see in the waiting room.” He smiled at her when she said that she liked old fashion. He showed her the ideas and she agreed with it and made some changes. “You should stay in the Guesthouse for some time until we are finished your place, I would suggest The Mill. It is next to your place and Its owned by a friend of mine, Liam.” Iris was shocked to know that Liam is a Guesthouse owner. The handsome Architect introduced himself to Iris: “I’m Noah. Everything has been so busy lately that I forgot to introduce myself!” “Nice to meet you Mr. Noah.” she replied. “Just Noah please, Mr. just sounds to formal.” he said. “So, you and Liam are close friends?” Iris asked. “Yeah, we have been for 5 years now, do you know him?” he wanted to know. “We met last night, He helped me with a couple of boxes.” “That’s Liam. He always helps where he can. His sister owns the diner just down the street, the only eatery around here.” he said “OH, I love that place I was there this morning!” she replied. “When we are done with the house, we can go for dinner sometime to celebrate?” Noah asked her. Iris replied with a smirk on her face.
