   "Okay. So on this map it says turn right. Then we go into the forest here," said Alex, pointing to the thick green shrubs surrounding them.

   "Shadow Chasms? Sounds dumb."

   "Not up to us to name it."

   Alex, Jen and Sarah were chopping their way through the dense forest that surrounded their city with machetes that Alex helped pack for each of them. The forest ended in a long stretch of water that lead to the sea. Jen was practicing fighting stances while Alex was doing most of the chopping, and Sarah was trying to focus on finding her elemental power.

   Finally, they reached the end of the forest and saw the water. Jen got all excited and scurried around, trying to find a decent boat for them to sail in. She found a pale blue one and got in, signalling for the other two to come over. They got in and Jen came out to push the boat into the water.

   Pushing with all her might, the boat glided into the water gracefully and Jen hopped in. "Eugh. My shoes are all wet," said Jen. She pulled them off and placed them in the boat which was, by now, VERY cramped.

   "Uh, Jen?" Sarah squeaked. "You know, you're a fan of water and stuff, so, um... would you mind if I asked you to swim instead of riding in the boat? Really cramped in here."

   Jen didn't mind at all. She dived off the boat and landed in the water. "Whoo! This is fun! Dry my shoes, will you? Thanks!"
