Ben's pov

" i don't understand you daddy "

" Ellie you're staying with Mr Christopher "

" I'm not getting you daddy "

" I am not joking "

" you are , right ? "

" you have to understand " I say

" I don't want to ! . . . because you're joking "

" President Lin can give you what I can't , he can protect you , make you what I can't , he can make you strong and agile . I only want what's good for you Ellie , what's best and even if I have to force you , I would " I state simply .

" nanny ! tell him his joke isn't funny nanny " Ellie said wailing

" Ellie " I yell startling her .

" daddy ?! " I saw that hurt look in her face from years ago when I would yell at her .

" You're staying with President Lin from now on . tomorrow , you'll be going over so be ready " I say and stand up " explain it to her nanny , I just . . . can't " I whisper that last part as I walk away avoiding Ellie's teary eyes .

Nanny's pov

What I was watching was a happy family breaking , the room was hot and teary from Ellie's side , I never expected this to happen , that sir would send young Ellie away . I knew his intentions where good both for her and the company, who wouldn't want their daughter with the richest business man in the world , the one who could protect and give her everything she'd ever want . and half way down the discussion, this was a father running away from his daughter's tears , I look at poor Ellie who was hiccuping as she cried and wailed .

" Nanny !!!! I don't want to. go with Mr Christopher , I don't like him , he's a bad . . . . a very . . . . very bad person " she kept hiccuping half way through her statements .

" but why don't you wanna stay with him dear ? I've told you not to judge people before you get to know them haven't I ? "

" what if he's truly that man , what if he's a drug addict, what if he beats me , what if I'm just one of his girls " I hear her cry get louder like that question triggered her emotions , those guesses worried her the most .

" but your daddy wouldn't want that for you would he ? " I say stroking her hair and then she hushed down .

" no daddy wouldn't do that "

" but you don't trust him , that why he left because your tears hurt him . is hurting daddy good ? " I ask cleaning her tears from her face and then pulled her cheeks .

" no nanny " she mumbled .

" and ? " I ask

" I'll apologize nanny "

" I don't want to " she shrieked threatening to cry again .

" okay promise me that you won't judge anymore until you meet him "

" oh but I have meet him nanny , he's very rude , he barged into daddy's office when we were in the middle of a important discussion , he thinks he can do whatever he wants that's why he wears casual to work , and then after that time in the elevator I didn't see him again "

I gasp at the shocking information , she has met him before ? I look at her as she kept on talking and talking, tears forgotten .

" you're only saying the things you dislike , not the things you notice " I frown deeply .

" what'd you mean nanny "

" what else did you discover from his good side "

" well he is handsome , and his vice president too , I think they were brothers and shy "

" shy ? " I yelp

" I would glare at him then he would look down and hide behind his brother . also that time in the elevator he took the stairs just because I was about to get in . . . he isn't smart at all but I wonder how he got rich " Ellie wondered innocently .

I smile ear to ear at the discovery I made from her story , true love at first sight . . . they had a connection and young Ellie is too young to understand it .

" come on let's prepare you for tomorrow , don't want daddy to be disappointed do you ? " I remind her .

" you can go on nanny " Ellie said looking towards the stairs to her father's room .

" okay dear. " I say moving towards the stairs to her room.

Ellie's pov

I was so devastated when daddy told me about Mr Christopher Lin , I could have cried till morning if it wasn't for nanny . I don't understand any way of the world at all and I don't like it either . daddy always says stuff like one can't fight enemy so should join them and one has to befriend the enemy instead of taking him down that it for the good of everyone and the smartest thing to do .

while nanny is always saying to not judge before getting to confirm but , it's already confirmed that President Lin is what they say he is . I still don't trust him or like him , someone like him is a bad patriot and a bad influence to citizens and influencers , maybe I could still try to change daddy's mind , he could never resist me .

" daddy ?! " I call knocking on his door softly , he opened up with red eyes and I knew he was having his headaches again .

" I'm sorry daddy " I started crying again seeing him in that bad state , no amount of medicine he took ever cured his headaches and I just gave it to him . I'm a bad daughter , very selfish and I deserve to cry I deserve to cry so much .

" oh Ellie dear , I'm sorry I have to do this to you too " he hugged me kissing my hair possessively .

" do I have to go daddy , please ? " I ask hiccuping again .

" it's for the best dear you know I love you very much , right ? " I nod quickly making my hair go all over the place .

" I know daddy "

" good girl Ellie , I have to sleep now my head hurts " he said moving into his room .

" can I give you a head massage daddy ? " I ask cleaning my tears , at least it'll be the last thing I do for him before I go .

" it's nothing ser . . . "

" you're having a headache daddy , pleeeeease ? " I frown shaking him side ways .

" okay dear " daddy permitted me and I rush to nanny's room taking some massaging oil and back .

I sit on the bed with daddy on the floor and I begin massaging his head smoothly . I can't believe this'll be the last time I'd wake up without dad or nanny there for me , I can't believe this'll be my first time away from home and away from daddy and nanny . I'll miss them , very much .
