“How did she know about that night?” I mindlinked Scarlet in an instant.
“Your special Alpha Zain most likely told her about it. What do you think?” Scarlet was being extra sassy today and at this point, her actions were starting to dabble on a thin line being rude.
I was well aware that I was the one who always wished for her to be a little more cunning and grow a thicker skin, but one thing I didn't want was for her to start this little experiment with me.
“Our special Alpha Zaim,” I corrected, before adding. “He’s going to be our mate, not just mine, remember?”
“Well, the deal looked tempting when I didn't see that Ralph was locked up in some silver cage!” Scarlet yelled, killing off any of the energy I was ready to spare for her.
