“Wait, Miya. Don't do it.”
As much as I loved Scarlet, at times I felt like the she-wolf was evolving at a much faster rate than any other living thing on the planet. I could swear to the moon goddess that I hadn't even let a single word run through our mind link channel, yet it felt like I didn't have to do any of that because it seemed as though Scarlet already had access to all of my thoughts!
“Miya, wait, I know what you're thinking-”
I rolled my eyes and released a sigh.
“Of course you do, Scarlet. You have access to all of my unfiltered thoughts at this point. Maybe I should just quit mind-linking you since you’ve come to know my next move even before I make it,” I mindlinked her, not trying to hide the frustration in my tone.
This time, it was Scarlet who sighed
