I couldn't stop my heart from racing.
Even though moments had gone since the kiss and Alpha Zain’s public declaration, I couldn't find any way to calm myself down. Feeling Scarlet’s energy surge all around me for the first time in a while, made it even harder to, but I didn't mind.
I had a perfect mate and the perfect wolf.
Nothing could ruin this moment.
At least that was what I believed until Meidran stepped forward.
