Chapter Eleven “Good morning, babe.” Nate’s voice was cutting into her dream and bringing a headache with it. “My head.” “I told you it was going to hurt this morning. Sit up. I brought you a gift.” She struggled to sit up, her head was pounding. Wine, she’d gotten wine drunk with Sam. There were some regrets right about now. “Here.” It was a bottle of water and two aspirin; the man was a god. “I enjoy being compared to a god.” “Was that out loud?” She groaned and laid back against the headboard. “Sure was, my goddess.” He pressed a kiss to her forehead. “I have to go. You can lay back down. I told you I’d wake you.” “I’ll miss you.” “Mean it?” “Yes! Do you have to leave right now?” “If I crawl back in that bed, I’m going to do things that involve us not leaving it for a while.”
