Chapter Ten
Two days later, they were getting ready for Alex to arrive. She had slept in Nate’s bed the last two nights, but nothing had happened between them, other than a kiss before going to sleep last night. The one time in her life she wished a man wasn’t such a gentleman, and he behaved like a perfect one, frustrating.
They had decided that Alex would take the spare room, and she would sleep in Nate’s while he was gone. She had promised to stay and not to run, even though part of her still wanted to. Today had been about making room in Nate’s closet and dresser for her things so Alex could use the stuff in the spare room.
