*****CHAPTER 1
In the midnight sky, the full moon shone brightly, casting an eerie glow over the dense forest. The rustling of leaves and the snapping of twigs echoed through the silence, sending shivers down my spines as I ventured into the dark, foreboding woods. The wind picked up as the night progressed, and the trees began to sway, their branches scraping against each other like bony fingers. In the distance, a chorus of nocturnal animals could be heard, their haunting calls sending shivers down my spine.   A piercing howl rang out through the night, it sent a shiver through the forest causing a flock of birds to take flight from their perch in a nearby tree.   Strange shapes and figures seemed to lurk in every corner, like they were watching and waiting for their prey as the moon cast shadows across the forest floor. The rustling of leaves became a faint whisper, and the snap of twigs became a muffled footstep.   Every sound and every movement seemed to be amplified, causing my heart to race and my mind to reel with fear. The forest held unknown horrors—a place where the darkness could swallow you whole and leave nothing but an empty shell behind.   Anyone caught in the forest on such a night would experience terror and a night to remember for years to come.   I stumbled through the dark forest, my tears blurring my vision. I have been wandering for what seemed like hours, calling out for help, but no one could hear me.   I was startled to hear a low growl coming from behind me. When I turned around, I saw a pack of large, snarling wolves approaching me. But as they got closer, I got the sinking feeling that these were no ordinary wolves.   Their fur was matted and dirty, and in the moonlight, their eyes glowed a menacing red. The wolves began to transform in front of my eyes, as if in response to my terror. Their bodies contorted and twisted, fur giving way to flesh, and they were no longer wolves but towering creatures with human-like features and razor-sharp teeth within moments.   I tried to run away, but my feet were firmly planted. The werewolf pack surrounded me, their snarls and growls filling the air.    I shut my eyes and prayed for a miracle.   A blur of white descended from the trees as the werewolves closed in on me. The pack turned to face the newcomer, and the forest fell silent for a moment.   The white werewolf stood tall and proud in the moonlight, its fur gleaming. I felt a glimmer of hope as its eyes burned with fierce determination.   The pack, however, was unfazed. They snarled and bared their teeth, and the air smelled strongly of bloodlust.   The fight began when the white werewolf let out a deafening roar. It was a battle between two opposing forces—a death dance. The werewolves attacked each other with ferocious fury, their teeth clashing and fur flying.   I watched in awe as the white werewolf fought, moving with otherworldly grace and power. Its movements were like a symphony, with each blow landing with precision and force, but the pack was unyielding. They were determined to defeat their adversary and claim the forest for themselves. As the fight continued, each blow took its toll on both sides.   In the end, it was the white werewolf who triumphed. As the pack retreated into the shadows, it stood, panting and bloodied. The forest was silent once more, except for the heavy breathing of the white werewolf.   I cautiously approached the white werewolf, who turned to face me.    For a brief moment, the white werewolf gazed at me, its eyes filled with sadness and understanding. Then it spoke in a deep voice that resonated within my very soul.   "We will meet again, little one," it promised. "But for the time being, you must leave this place." "The woods are no longer safe."   The white werewolf then vanished into the trees, leaving me alone once more.   But I wasn't scared any longer. Something had shifted within me, and I felt a newfound strength and resilience. I knew I would make it out of the woods and back to civilization.   I caught a glimpse of the white werewolf's form disappearing into the darkness as I turned to leave. I hope we will cross paths again one day.   I began walking back in the direction of the car crash with renewed zeal. I stumbled a few times, my tears clouding her vision, but I persisted.   My heart sank when I finally arrived at the crash site. My parents remained in the car, their bodies motionless and lifeless. I collapsed to my knees and sobbed uncontrollably.   I heard sirens in the distance a few minutes later. The cops had arrived. When I looked up, I saw a swarm of officers approaching me, their flashlights scanning the area.   "Blair!" one of them exclaimed. "Are you feeling okay?"   Still crying, I nodded. The officers rushed to my side to examine me for injuries. As they drove me away from the wreckage and into the safety of their patrol car, they consoled me.   I was taken to a hospital after a long and painful journey, where I was treated for minor injuries and given a clean bill of health. I was then placed in the care of my relatives, who welcomed me and provided me with a loving home.   I will still remember that night in the forest for years to come, but I will never forget the white werewolf who saved my life. I still hear its deep voice in the darkness of my dreams, reminding me that I was never truly alone.
