Flare and Flake

Avelyn was starring at her grumpy face in the mirror this morning.She always wanted to spent her vacation in her grandma's place.But this year her mom insisted her to go to this teeanage camp Atlantis. She had heard many stories of this camp since she was a toddler.Her mom and dad have met at this camp when they were teenagers.As her mom says this was a wonderful place to make friends. But Avelyn who already had many friends at scool was bored to go to this camp all alone.She tried her best to take one of her school friends with her but failed. Having no choice she got ready with her new pair of jeans and the t shirt given by her mom with the letters printed "CAMP ATLENTIS". She was always not sure what to do with her hair. She tied a high pony tail but was not happy with it.Finally she decided to keep her hair loose. "Avelyn,Hurry up.Lets go" Mrs.Harper screamed from downstairs Mr and Mrs Harper was more excited than Avelyn.Camp Atlantis was the place which changed their lives.So they wanted to gift that beautiful adventurous place to their only daughter Avelyn Harper. Avelyn strolled towards the car with the heavy luggage . "Ave baby,one day you'll thank us for this"said Mr.Harper while giving her a hug. Three of them,Mr.and Mrs.Harper with Avelyn drove for nearly 3hrs when the car stopped in a security check point.Mr.Harper drew out a pass from the wallet.After the security check soon they were released. Avelyn observed the either side of the road because she had no clue where they were going.Beside the road there were huge willow trees.So the road was shady.Avelyn for the first time felt that this camp is not as bad as she thought. Car stopped at the huge gate with the carving Camp Atlentis .Her mom got down from the car and opened the door for her. Mrs Harper saw the panic in Avelyns bright blue eyes.She embarrassed her and planted a big kiss on her forehead "Ave ,you are not a little girl anymore.I assure you will love this place...Me and dad we both loves you a lot."Avelyn peeped in to her moms eyes.She knew that they would never do anything bad for her.She smile slightly with her tender lips "Love you mom.I believe in you." She waved goodbyes to her parents and walked toward the gigantic gate of "The Camp Atlentis "
