Sentrik stood before Endorious. White strands of hair obscured his eyes. His face was tired, worn. Blue eyes stared at the person from a world away.   His mind was a garden of thorns. None of his thoughts did him any good. He had come prepared to fight a great evil, had gathered his strength for years, but now, under the ocean, he was witnessing things he could never have imagined. Unbearable burdens he had been called upon to carry. He would do it, if only he knew how.   In his life, on his ships, he’d been the law: a punisher and a judge, a merciful one.
