CHAPTER 1: THE ILLUSION OF HAPPINESS The morning sun kissed my skin as I stepped out of my car, my heels clicking sharply against the marble pavement. Today was another prefect day like always, my world was curated masterpiece neatly polished. people keep greeting for the entrance of the company, no one could see the c***k all they see is the image of a prefect illusion I created carefully. I left the company and went to buy stuffs for my step mother and step sister for the trip because it was a family trip. Later that night when I was done packaging, I want down for our normal family dinner. Over dinner my father kept asking me about the company project and the contract, I was shocked because he never ask me about the company since I inherited the company from my late mother. I give him a brief summary about it, I thought to myself why is everyone behaving strange today including my father? Heaven was showing me signs of the doom around but I ignored everything because I never thought I had enemies!! The next the before 10am we have in Beijing, we all checked into the three-star hotel. Our rooms key was handed over to us but my step-sister demanded to be close to me and my fiancée I agreed harmlessly even due my assistant never loved the idea. In the morning I want for a sightseeing with Mei because Yichen refuses to go with me all in the excuse of helping my father out and going to golf with him. I went to different places and took pictures of beautiful memories when I accidently bumped into Jun Hao again, I smiled and apologized for bumping into him He joined me in taking pictures and making jokes that ended up asking me to eat dinner with him, I refused but later accepted since am free. I choose where we all were going since he asked me to eat, I never knew that will be my last memory and food I will eat with people that loved me most which I neglected before. Mei and his assistant requested to go back and rest, it was already 9pm as I sat down and placed my orders. We talked and I was relaxed and happy, which didn’t last because my phone rang and it was my step-mother She never calls accept it’s an important matter, I picked up and a crying voice said “your faith……your father has been rushed to the hospital” What??? I asked I will send the location and she hung up” Without thinking or reasoning I jumped on my feet and entered the car, Jun Hao tries holding me back but I moved him away and started the car. It was snowing heavily but I ignored all that and drive off with the location that was sent to me, I wished I had known I would have listened to Jun Hao I was driving on a high speed, my thought wasn’t with me, because I can’t lose my both parents. I have drove up to 200miles when an incoming truck drove towards me, I tried stopped but I have been on high speed. The truck drove into me and pushing my car from the mountain down to the slope, my car rolled down hitting tress and rocks and everything blacked out. I was woken to a familiar shadow but all I could hear was a murmuring I tried shouting for help but I can’t, I struggled to free myself from the car but all my effort wasn’t enough. All I heard before fainting again was the voice of a woman laughing and making a call saying “the monster is out of the way” the other person replied “that calls for celebration” The shadow left leaving me to die out there, “what???? I can’t die here, please God!!!!!
