Agyn stood there shocked, not believing her eyes standing right before her was the one and only Xatyrth protector of life. We were friends when we were children, but then we never saw each other again. My mother and father told me it was because his mother was sick and has been for so long, but now I am seeing him and his family all together as adults and everyone looks fine and he looks just as shocked at seeing me. I started crying because we were so close growing up. We were the best of friends until we were about 8, then we got separated. He started slowly crying while I was crying so much and I ran up and hugged him and he hugged me back. We stood there for a minute, not believing any of this was real. While we were hugging, his parents slowly walked away to give us time to talk and when we finally let go of each other, he asked her why they hadn't seen each other in 10 years. She says it was because my mother and father said your mother has been really sick and you guys couldn't come and visit me and I couldn't come visit you anymore. My mother was never sick, she just said that we couldn't visit each other anymore. She didn't explain why. Agyn said then," I dont know why my mother and father would tell me that maybe our parents were having difficulties with our kingdom's and didn't want us to be involved either way. I'm not sure we would have to ask them after the ball. Xatyth said," Then may I have this dance before I have to go back to my parents. Yes, you may we dance for what felt like a short amount of time but what was really an hour. Agyn's pov:we danced and what felt like a short time was an hour long, then one of my parents' maids came out and told us dinner was starting and our parents were looking for us, so we said our goodbyes and we would see each other later. Xatyth's pov: as I watched her walk away she looked so beautiful in the moon's light under the stars with her dress on, I got this weird feeling like I couldnt be away from her or else a piece of me would be missing. But as she turned the corner I felt half empty, like a part of me just dissapired. Agyn's pov: as I turned the corner I stopped for a minute. I couldn't deny how handsome he looked and how much we had both grown since we last saw each other. I wonder why our mother's and father's made us stop visiting each other. I'm going to get to the bottom of this and, since I am now 18, I will make it to where we are able to visit each other again. But now I also feel like I'm missing a part of me, like when I left him half of me was missing. I'm on my way to the ball room after freshening up and I see my parents. I go take my seat next to them and on my way I greet people and thank them for coming, and I even see new people that I haven't seen before also. When I got to my mother and father, I greeted them and took my seat beside them when dinner, while everyone was conversing each other. I asked my mother why she kept me and Xatyth apart for 10 years. She said it was for my own good and then she gave me a look. We will speak about this later. She was about to make an announcement. Xatyth's pov: I tell my mother that I have this weird unexplainable pull to agyn and its like a pice of me is missing when I'm without her and my mother sighs and says I wantn't ever going to tell you this but she is your other half, ur soulmate. The reason you guys got separated when you were younger was because the prophet from the kingdom told, agyns mother and father that if u guys continued to see each other that by the time u were 18, you guys would over throw them off the thrown because it, your guys's destiny, so she made sure, u guys wouldn't grow up together so u guys couldn't fall in love and over throw them and we had no choice but to obey them. i am so sorry son but by berth u guys are soulmates so u guys must over come this obsticall it is ur destiny to be with her so after dinner you must go find her before it is time to go and u must tell her my son.
