Shanias POV Six months ago There I was with my boyfriend and my sister getting ready for my initiation. It was my first time shifting in front of everybody and shifting for myself. “Are you nervous” my sister asked, “I’m a little bit nervous but excited at the same time does it hurt” I asked. “It hurts but we will both be by your side”, he said as he kissed my forehead. My father the alpha, called my boyfriend downstairs to his office to have a talk with him while my other sister came up it was the three of us now. She came up to help me get ready as well when I asked her, “were you nervous to change in front of the whole pack” because she was the middle she had already changed. She said “I wasn’t nervous because our mother was still around, her and father helped me through it”. Mother had left a few years ago I was now fifteen so I had my sisters to help me with everything because my father was busy with the pack business. It was now nighttime and my sisters had helped me finished get me ready everyone in the pack was downstairs over 100 wolves waiting for me to come down and transform for the first time. As I looked in the mirror I saw myself with my auburn wavy hair with beautiful sandy streaks in a beautiful blue long dress that was tight at the top and flows at the bottom with vibrant purple stilettos i looked and I saw my father crying in the mirror. He said “you look so much like your mother she would be proud if she was here”.When he said that I tried not to get angry but I saw the sadness in his eyes and it was clear that he missed her, “I’m ready” I said and smiled.
