Shanias POV
As I walked into my fathers office, I said to him “what is going on why is everyone running around out there, dad what’s happening”.
He said “get your swords and weapons ready, some of the rogues were spotted east of the gate, take Simone home but be careful”.
He said to Simone as he shook her hand “Simone nice meeting you, sorry we didn’t get to talk longer”.
As me and Simone went to my room to gather my weapons she looked terrified. I then assured her everything would be ok and left with Simone behind me, but close on my heels.
As we walked through the woods I heard a growl, as I turned I saw a rogue wolf. I quickly pushed Simone behind me and growled back, then got into a fighting stance.
As the rogue lunged at me, I pulled out my swords and slid under the rogues belly and sliced it open.
It dropped down in its tracks right at Simones feet and I went up to it and chopped its head off, double checking it was dead when I looked at Simone she was so full of fear that she collapsed, but I caught her just in time.
